Like no other, Hickstead has brought great joy into our hearts and lives. From Olympic gold to two Spruce Meadows CN International titles, Nation's Cup victories, and the many other wins too numerous to mention, this gutsy stallion made an indelible mark on the sport of show jumping. His partnership with Eric Lamaze was the stuff of legends. Superlatives like these are too often used in sport, but in this instance the words are not too strong. i would like to extend my deepest condolences to Eric Lamaze and the all those who lived and worked with Hickstead. They have lost a friend, a partner and a member of the family. i made a video, please show your respect and watch it to help show our love for hickstead www.youtube.com/watch?v=66lLQA6mu58&feature=channel_video_title
