The seating was terrible i agree! The plonked a few tables and chairs in a corner, in which noone could see the performance as there was crowds of people in front! And as for the Disco.. in the evening, well, that was a bit of a let down too! I just home its all put together better this time, otherwise i shant be bothering again!

I am completely determined to attend in 2012-going to book at least one stable pretty much as soon as they become available. Can anybody recommend which stables have the most facilities and are nearest to the ring

Can anybody recommend which stables have the most facilities and are nearest to the ring Blue stables are the ones you are looking for, other stables are for sponsors, members etc, and then there are some for show-jumpers. All the stables have, near them, showers, toilets and hook-ups, just make sure you book hook-up at same time as stable if you want one. You will feel fitter after a few days there!!!! ;D

It's handy to see which rings you are in most and decide on the stables from there. Blue stables suited me well as I did the BSPA show as well which was the other side of the blue stables, but for people doing Workers it was a long way to go.

Sf if you have a M&M you want yellow stables. Blue are near the rings at the back, and the yellow are near the MM rings along the right hand side to the indoor.

Thanks for the info on rings. Looking at the map on the prov schedule I cannot see yellow stables?? Can anyone else see where they are and what ring they are close to?

I have heard that they have put prices up for sponsoring and stabling? Anybody know if this is true? Bowditchblobs do you know what the classes are like for miniature shets? I remember on the sunday there were a lot of miniature horses but can't recall any shetties? Don't know whether it will be worth taking mine. I have to say though the sponsor stables are well worth paying extra for if you can get a few of you together to do one.

Oh right, sorry they must have removed yellow stables! In that case blue or red members then! We were in purple which was nice and quiet and lots of working in room, but we always had to go to the ring nice and early so we didn't miss it! They're quite close to the indoor but quite far from the rings at the back.

I would like to order a KFC stand - a chinese and an indian takeaway Also - could the shop stock some food? If the showground could put some hooks up in the showers to hang your clothes - that would also be good Could the dressage times for the music perfomance - NOT be written in chalk - so that some kind person doesnt withdraw me this year? Other than that - I cant wait xxxxxxxxxxxxx

We'll be first timers this year so any advice/ tips gratefully received. I will be taking a ridden hunter and a maxi cob so which stables would you suggest? What are the advantages of sponsoring??

I read the sponsers packages on sat and they have really put the prices up so I am not going to go now as I just won't have the money to risk losing as we are going to have to book so early due to it being so busy. It depends what package you get there are 2 stable, 4 stables, 6 stables or 12 stables. All are and extra £100 per stable on top of the stable price. So a 2 stable package is £200, 4 stable £400 ect ect. Depending on which package you get you get a sponsers meal, priority hook up things like that.
