This outfit listed today on eBay (item no.18085692458) Stunning bottle green, magenta and white concours d'elegance outfit comprising very full, long skirt with tulle underskirting, fitted jacket with white lace-trimmed collar and cuffs and top hat band with co-ordinating decoration, one off, brand new and ready to go ... to fit ladies sizes 10 and 12  LEAD REIN LADIES COMPETING IN CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE CLASSES ... we now have beautiful Victorian-style blouses with leg-o-mutton sleeves, lace trim collars and cuffs and dianty diamante buttons to back fastening, to be worn tucked into the waistband of long walking skirt (we make those) and finished with waist sash in same fabric as main part of child's outfitprice (we make those too!) ... each blouse is priced at £39.50 including postage by recorded delivery   |

Just wondering what a boy would wear for Concours shows? I haven't found a single example of a boy or man in a concours show and don't think my son will consent to dress as a Victorian lady!! Do you offer anything for boys, or know what the dress code is? It might be something we consider doing later in the season

I have dressed a couple of boys in concours d'elegance classes ... one was on the lead rein and had a Scottish-based theme comprising Bonnie Prince Charlie jacket, white shirt with willyer bow, tartan trews and tartan shoulder drape and his mum wore black skirt, white stand-up collar blouse and tartan sash around waist and tartan shoulder drape .. looked very smart and was highly-placed at Equifest summer champs 2010
the other boy was a little older and wore a navy tuxedo-style jacket with navy trousers which had red stripe down the side and his accessories were red and looked very smart and was also placed @ Equifest a couple of years ago
