Heeeey, Back from round 1 of PUK  as you know I rode a friend's 4yo in the HOYS 153cm SHP, she was really good! Went well but she is only 14.2hh so looked tiny, no wonder ponies keep going over height, they didn't even consider her, she wins EVERYTHING in hand so clearly has good conformation and did an alright show scoring 39/100!!!  She may be small but that is ridiculous... they are going to drop some weight from her as she is quite chunky and try the 148 show ponies and ISRT's or try to get her measured as 14hh....  Anyway, taking Ronnie show jumping tomorrow then getting ready to go back to PUK friday early morning Nighttttt x x x |

The 15hh class is ridiculous. So hard to get a look in unless you've got a full up.. Nightmare..
Well guys.. Ive got a new pony! My 18th birthday present off my mum! So excited, something to have a play with!

Me to! Spill the beans Laura! Well in San Diego and its fab!! Went to the zoo Monday and got up close to polar bears (like one was asleep near on the glass and when you put your hand on the glass it was if you touched it!) and baby jaguars that were really cute and 2 pandas! Then went to sea world today and went on all the big rides (and got soaked) and watched some shows - saw shamu the big whale and it was so intriguing! Then got so close to dolphins and penguins and sharks swam over us! It was amazing! I have so many pictures when I get home Missing oli like crazy! Hoping to get him out to a few shows when I get back as he was going so well when I left! |

Hahahah that is quite awkward Jemima Ah, showing is showing - MADNESS! Ooooh spill Laura Sounds great Becca  We hired a arena with a course of show jumps made up and he went really well, jumped huuuuge! Got back and rode Ole, gosshhh, not like him - he was so naught, just full of it! Hopefully he will be better for tomorrow!!! Lorry loaded, tack is extra clean, everything in etc. Alarm set nice and early and we will be back off to Ponies(UK) ;D come on Ole!!!!!!!!!!!!!! x x x |

Good luck Jess, you'll do fab, bring back the rozzies for JL! ;D Ssshhhh Becca you'll make me all jealous! Well I've had a fright tonight....don't think any of you know but when I was 10 I had a seizure/epheletic fit. Lasted about 2 minutes, all that happened was I couldn't open my mouth to talk & couldn't breathe that, & when I did try to talk it came out all, erm like a toddler? & my arms went all sp@zzy. Wasn't scary, I remember watching TV & my lips sealing. Stood up, to tell my Mum my lips felt weird but I couldn't talk. Went into panic mode, & ran into the kitchen to find my Mum (who was on the phone) & tried to talk but I couldn't & I started getting hysterical. My Mum thought I was being sick, all I could do was shake my head, anyway calmed down within a minute & could talk again. Weird. Went to the hospital had to have an MIR scan on my brain, all was fine, normal brain (believe it or not!) Doctors didn't have a clue what it was. Nothing to do with my brain, & had to see loads of different Doctors, different departments... They thought it could have been epilepsy (triggered by light/flashes) but nothing happened on the TV when it happened. Wasn't a stroke either, as my heart rate, etc was fine. So they said must of have been an 'odd occurrence & nothing to worry about'. So yeh, I was relieved I wasn't ill! Anyway, was having a nice, relaxing bath this evening, washing my hair & felt my lips sort of twitching & forcing in, went into panic mode. Nothing happened at all, they were fine. Just panicked me! Not sure what it was, couldn't been me doing it myself & it happened... & when I had that cheek ache (near Easter? I complained about it you may remember ) I was worried that was to do with it, but that was just Sinustis from a cold, nothing to do with it. Really scared me tonight, brrrr. Haha just a normal day in the Gosmore household, all's fine now. Seriously our house is accident prone! Ooooh who wants to hear the time my brother fell out of the hayloft?! naaaaah didn't think so ;D |

Ponies(UK)
Ole did a fab go round in his class today although as the judge was watching he chucked his head, other than that really good, awesome extended trot across the diagonal! Anyway, pulled 4th which was fair as he chucked his head... The judge rode him and did their show, he was a good boy, he prefers to be ridden on a looser rein and she held him really tight so he was quite over bent and predicted his show. Stood up nicely for the conformation judge but was very lazy in trot. Walked round and got pulled in - 5th... :/ gutted, it was a tough class though! He is settled in his stable now and we're going for a wonder, nothing to do though!!

Ah that's a shame Jess, good result nevertheless though! Best of luck tomorrow!  Haha, tbh sounnds scarier than it was, just weird last night! Fran's bathed & ready for tomorrow, local-ish BSPS/Agricultural show (hope it's better than the one last week! ). I reaaaaaaaally want to win, because their's a 'tray' to the winner.  Pahaha! TTYL, having a late lunch & watching the Olympics- it ends this w/e going to be sooo sad! |

Such a shame Jess, at least he went well though! PUK was very quiet on Wednesday... Hadn't been since 2008, and the size/quality of the classes has definitely had a change for the worst. Anyway, Papa was AMAZING in the HOYS. So pleased with him. Just tapped the LAST FENCE - SO ANNOYING. However, we were placed 4th - 3 clears so we were the highest placed pole! BUT... Seen the marks today and we would have WON if we hadn't have gotten that bloody pole!!!!! Very angry with myself although there was nothing more we could have done to not get that pole, I shortened him up, he jumped into the double fine but forgot his hinds because there was a horrible tray! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. |

At Ponies UK in the Timberwolf the SHPs (apart from the 122cm) have ride judges. I remember doing it with Fran! Well done Chloe! But grrrr, annoying! GO for it at BSPS, you WILL get that ticket! ;D You've been placed so consistently! |

Helloooo, Have you missed me?? One day left of camp... Totally hectic, cowboy has been amazing, considering he has never seen XC fences before, today he jumped all the hunt hedges, rails, houses, drops all first time. It was hilar, my BF's grandparents own the land, and his grandmother wat watching me jump the biggest hedge on the land, (flippin' huge about 4ft:O ) Cowboy decided he could take off about 3 strides early... Still cleared it!!! Also, we had the BBC camera crew at camp today, they were interveiwing a few people about nick skelton who lives about 1mile away from camp, and stuff like that. So turn your TV's on wednesday evening on 'The One Show' and I may be in the background!! |
