Yes riding Gyp Hope Jemima, Georgina, Georgina, Tabby and their thee friend had fun at the disco last night, havah, I saw you go in :L looked like fun?(; Ole was a superstar in the evening performance, champion was champion at RIHS this year and reserve wins HOYS most years so it was fair ;D |

As if I missed Waterloo Road  how was it? Gyp and I were 6th in a VERY strong young intermediate SRT class we then did the PP mixed height SHP, we didn't realise until after the class but 1st and 2nd go through to the evening performance with the show ponies and champion qualifies for HOYS! We came 2nd!! So close was really pleased as Gyp is only 4 and is so very lazy, struggled to get her into canter in our show and didn't do much of a gallop but still got 2nd! It was her first evening performance too, she was very good, the winner of my class got champion and qualified, they didn't do a reserve... Soooo tired now, but back home in my bed Good luck to everyone who is still there! I will post some piccccys in a bit xxxxx |

What a lovely picture Jess! Well done with Gyp, she is a lovely mare, come on so much this season. Waterloo Road was a bit odd last night, only WR though Coming to BSPS tomorrow with the M&M worker, also bringing Master along with us for a bit of experience |

Well... Got there Tuesday and when we were trying to unload a couple of little kids decided it would be fun to ride there tricycles 2 foot away from the end of our ramp... I asked them to move and their parents were watching and doing nothing. We waited 10 mins for the kids to move before managing to unload then were walking up to stable with ponies and had to wait another 10 mins for a loose stallion to be caught... Waited 5 hours for our hook up to be switched on... Didn't ride either on Tuesday as I was shattered! Wednesday I was on my own as both parents had to go to work, my friend came up for day to 'help' (stress me out & nearly make me miss my classes - thanks). Rode Vulcan around for a while & got shouted at for being in the bspa rings oops! Then swapped ponies and rode Snoopy - he was an absolute babe and just plodded about happily. Met up with Hannah and went for a ride about then swapped ponies Went back, untacked and went to get lunch, watched some of indoor training classes, said to friend I needed to go back to stables for 2 to plait up for my training class... She didn't want to walk in the rain and then stopped at every trade stand before we got back to Snoopy at 3 had to quickly plait up and tack up, rushed over to workers ring to ding they hadn't even finished m&m training class waited around for ages then thunder storm started blowing a gazebo across right in front of Snoopy & thunder & lightning & didn't even flinch bless him! They decided to put the 143&153 classes together to save time. Friend was having a fit saying I shouldn't jump etc.. Walked the course and the ground was fine so decided to jump, she bailed and went back to indoor with all my stuff... Cheers! Waited to jump and had 1 stop only because he'd been stood about for ages then jumped everything including the water tray no problem. Decided against doing pairs that evening - didn't fancy dying! Thursday - went to do vulcans class, couldn't warm him up as he was getting really strong, went to walk course and left mum with pony who started barging her about got on and he wouldn't stand still in collecting ring, took him in ring and he wouldn't stand for judge, started course and he just went! Got him back before last jump and there was a choice of 3 you could jump I set him up for one part and at the last minute he went for the other part & I ended up on my head ouch! Judge wouldn't let me get up do mum was like omg! Then went to see paramedic and they were like your okay if you feel worse come back, & don't ride again today... Me - listening to advice as always, went and plaited up snoopy ready for his class, ring was running late again so went for a plod about with our pair for non m&ms that evening. Got in our class & got eliminated by fence 4 as I wasn't right and Snoopy could feel I wasn't right. Went to get ready for pairs and ended up running about trying to get things that matched. Got both ready went over and pre-judging was running late... Didn't realise we had to do a show so went to a ring to attempt to make one up and it was disastrous lol! Got in pre-judging and they gave us a set show and that went okay! Then they pulled us forward and we were like what?! And we'd been pulled in the top 10  went to evening and both of us were completely shocked! We waited outside ad expected ponies to flip in the indoor :L went in and both of them went fantastically! We came 10th but we were so happy with them! Friday I wasn't feeling to good so decided to pull out of my classes that day and swapped Vulcans class on Saturday from working hunter to in hand. Parents went home to get some stuff and ended up staying at home as they wouldn't have been able to get back on show ground that night... Saturday went to help flee with her ponies and warmed up Pea for her then had a sit on Rodney got Vulcan ready for his class went over and ring was running late! Did our class and came 4th ran over to get Snoopy ready for his & he was mucky! Had a minor break down (as you do!) and got ready went to ring and they had just done 153 placings so missed that class Vulcan got picked up Saturday afternoon and went home... Watched evening performance and cried at RSPCA class! Anyone know who celebrity judge was?! Sunday went and watched some of Southern then loaded Snoopy and came home Cleared out lorry - amazing how much stuff one person can acquire over a week! Parents dropped lorry off and came home... That is basically our Equifest! A bit of a mixed one! |
