I generally buy them locally, but one of the stockists have them online which is Rideaway. You generally don't see that much of a price difference....but I could be wrong! If its for the horse with white legs then I would use the leg whitener, as I put this on my horse who is coloured (so 4 very white legs) whilst he is still wet from being bathed and then put fibre-gee padding on with bandages ! i find the gold label whitener in tubs better than the supreme, but i am addicted to sparkle especially on manes and tails.

I have used their whitening paste/powder on my old show cob, which was brilliant and still use, I also used their black varnish, but it was rubbish, chipped and came off very easily. I use their hoods on my chunky highland, they don't move and fit very well considering the size of him. I haven't tried anything else, but considering using the Heritage Collection, so if anyone has used any of these products I would be most grateful

I love their sparkle spray, have used their whitener it is good but find the Elico gold label just as good.for white hooves I love the Lynne Russell spray on hoof oil it is fab . I used cow boy magic for years on my own hair and my show jumpers mane and tail. Used it on 3 of my sec D's well they must have been allergic to it as the next day my stallion had basically hogged himself, my colt had rubbed a heap of his and my gelding too so no more cow boy magic for any of mine.
We are away to stock supreme products in our shop and online saddlery so I will hopefully get the hoods from my supplier and will try those on my D's as not found one I am happy with that doesn't break the mane .

You must get the Easy Plait! I cannot do without it now. no idead what's in it but your plaits aren't sticky, no stray bits and are very neat and tidy. Also Sparkle is a must.... As for shampoo's I've never tried them as I swear by lemon fairy liquid for my WHITE pony and my coloured girl Hope this helps! :-)

It's okay jesskwa, find the spray's amazing at Supreme Products. Our basket usually includes SP Shine Spray SP Coat Gloss SP Glistening Oil & Baby Oil for the face Aborsorbine Hoof Oil Basic Horse & Pony Chalk - don't bother with the expensive pastes - make your own! Add a bit of water to the chalk. The more water the more 'pastier' it looks! Then we have the a highlighter (good for putting a bit on black points, etc) not a SP though, can't remember the brand but good stuff. Baby Gel as well as oil Mane & Tail De-tangler & Easy Plait, incase any plaits need re-plaiting! Along with brushes, a cloth or two, & all the other "stuff"

If you have black legs, a cheaper alternative to black cover magic is Sheep marker spray, about a fiver a can, spray down legs and over feet, job done.

i use...
blue shampoo.. but have been advised to try 'touch of silver' blue rinse (old lady stuff!) which you can generally buy from the pound shop.
black make up, for the face any make but find the supreme sponge applicator tube best.. i bought the red black by mistake but find it better than the blue/black. for the legs the aerosol black cover up.
bably oil gel but be careful if its sunny!
talc.. ordinary human stuff from the pound shop.. i use loads to build up the colour but just make sure you brush it in/off so that you dont leave a talc cloud everywhere you go!
black varnish (the stuff that gets all over and stains!).. however i do also like sabaline (not sure that spelt right!) but it needs applying regularly and doesnt last as well (depends on the surface ur riding on).
any coat shine, usually the cheapest! i have a grey so it doesnt really make that much difference.. i do use a better quality one on other colours as they show up better.
i also like the are aerosol sparkle (not glitter) spray for finishing off legs/knees etc.. i always spray and then wipe.
baby oil and water for quarter marks and normal hairspray to set. i also use cheap gel spray/hair spray for plaiting. and always keep a supply of baby wipes for noses, mouths, tack, boots etc.

I like the sparkle, easy plait and the cover magic white spray.
Not fussed on the rest of the range. Hate the glistening oil.
I personaly use the absorbine hoof oils and the show shine. Plain chalk for most of the legs (cover magic used for any left over yellow bits).
I use the gold label quater mark spray.

Thank you everyone for some great tips! this is little madam i'll be taking out (you'd probably seen her on the picture post) As you can see she has 4 WHITES! and she has got a blaze to hiding there....and obviously bay.... i think i'm going to experiment with these products! in this picture we just used fairy washing up liquid and dove for body mane/tail! (the show was a last minute dash) she's only made a few appearances, now she's older i'd like to flash her off abit more and go to the buzzer shows just to let her know that she isn't a glorified rabbit!

I use the sparkle spray as looks fab on my cobs white tail. Also use the white cover up spray but thats about all for Supreme. Use the black absorbine hoof gloss and the lynn russell quick shine hoof spray. Gold label whitening powder applied to wet legs works well and then just brush off the excess when dry.

you need to have a trip to boyes( if you live near one) cheap chalk for white legs, also baby oil never goes a miss and is way cheaper then supreme agree with the black hoof oil dislike it as it does nt stay black for long.

Could some one tell me, when you put quarter marks on and brush through the water and oil first and then do them, how do them, how do you stop the dust coming to the top?
(even on a washed pony, dust comes up)

dont put oil on as it attracts dust just water or coat shine

Don't use oil tulip, just water then do the marks whilst still wet.
Don't get me started on Supreme Products, I couldn't live without them! In my home bucket/basket/early show prep are: Heritage Collection mane and tail builder-works wonders on rubbed out mane and tail and rug rubs on shoulders. Leg&body whitener-if I put it on on say the tuesday night at the champs and re bandage every night I don't have to put it on again, just re bandage to keep the legs clean. Lyrca hoods and body suits Blue shampoo Blue rinse and many other products that I can't think off right now
In the show basket is: Sparkle spray Quarter mark spray Coat gloss Black cover magic White Cover magic Clear hoof gloss Highlighter Gel Highlighter Gloss Black eye gloss make up Black matt make up Chestnut matt make up
At shows and at home in general we use: Fly off-actually does what it says on the bottles, keeps the flies away for a few days with one application and kills wasps. Leg&Mud guard Sun&wind protection
Fantastic products and well worth the money, I couldn't live without them, make life so much easier!

Jesskwa i have just recently filled my showing kit with a selection of goodies.
Another vote for supreme sparkle apray, although flyaway show shimmer is as good and a little cheaper.
Absorbine hoof varnish both black and clear are fab, have to agree lynne russel spray on varnish is great to spary on just before you enter the ring on top of the varnish.
Ive just got dreamcoat conditoner which i was advised on put havent used yet.
I also have supreme glisten oil that i use around the eyes and muzzle, although i think babyoil is as good, careful though for sunburn.
I use chalk blocks which i apply to white areas when wet then brush off when dry just as good as any paste for a fraction of the price.
Lynne russell finishing spay is fab love it, leaves a fab sheen on the coat.
I also have cowboy majic bodyshine, which i havent used yet.
Yes its costs me a bloody fortune, but they will last me for at least a season.
Must admit the product i could not be without believe it or not is by far the cheapest, good old baby oil ;D
