What's it like? Does anyone have any experience of it? What kind of fences are there in phase 2? Are they solid or more like WH fences? How big are we talking for the not exceeding 153cm class? Thanks

It's the same as the mini-eventer except SJ instead of conformation... (I think) It's WH fences... Umm... thin its 95cm with 105cm spread... Don't quote me on it though!

The mini-eventing course last year was brilliant, no solid fences, but they were just as 'scary' and the course looked challenging too!

The course was mainly SJ type of fences, but looked a tricky course to ride. Some spooky objects too, but no, no solid jumps. Good luck! SD you are right I'm sure, our friend did it & I remember 95cm in height it was - certain!

Hah! As if my little pony could manage 95cms! (It's not me that'd chicken out....honest!)
It looks brilliant but I think I'll keep all 4 feet on the ground this year. Will def be watching it though!

The courses are brilliant!!!!! They are usually big but not full up! Very scary, inc lots of the HOYS jumps! In the open class' it is more of a cross country course, quite hilly and lots of space.. In the novice class' it is a large space too but an easier route! Not too technical but quite challenging
