Think the gist was that someone had given a childs pony oats without the owners knowledge and said pony then behaved badly and child will no longer ride it

How did you find out they were feeding her oats? If they have the effects of oats will be out of her system very quickly so not sure what they would gain by doing it?

Tbh can a few oats make a huge difference? I know they can staminate the pony, but surely not to certain extremes?

I dont really understand why the child would think the pony is dangerous has the pony thrown the daughter off Oats wont stay in the system for long and for them to have the effect that you are talking about they must have been feeding oats over a good few days How do you know they were feeding oats

Yes oats can make a difference but the spring grass is coming through and that can send ponies loopy when they get all that goodness in thier systems. I can't really see what feeding oats is going to achieve I've never known a pony run through a fence just because it had some oats.................

Tbh can a few oats make a huge difference? I know they can staminate the pony, but surely not to certain extremes? Whilst everyone is criticising the OP's writing (with real justification) then should not the fifth word here be STIMULATE? The English language is fast becoming a thing of the past. However, I fully agree with snowflake and others that in regard to the 'oats supposedly fed to First Ridden pony' (by seemingly disgruntled ex-client) scenario, without real evidence, this sort of tattle is as bad as the perceived act.

Is this suppose to be a joke? For one I cannot work out what you are trying to say and two a few oats aren't going to make a fr pony into a racehorse and three you have no proof at all that said person has actually done anything wrong.

To be fair to Snowflake - all her sentences are usually well written and constructed to a level of maturity far above her age
