Mine was at PUK last year... My pony was for sale and some people were watching him to maybe purchase after having a go in the collecting ring. I was doing a novice whp class: I had a stop at the most easy jump in the course and had the last jump down. (my pony finds the novices sooo easy to add) I then went into do my show; he 'went to the toilet' in front of the judge, then wrong legged it, I went into canter in my extended trot, he changed his leg in the gallop then bucked and I struggled to stop. I then did my trot up and I fell over... There were 3 in the class, me and two other clears... I got pulled in 1st..........if you have read what happened above you will also realise that it is now impossible to win! I told the judge and she said that "I deserve it and that I did really well" - obviously not... The 2nd place then complained and the judges looked at the marks and I got moved all the way down the line. Could anything else go wrong!!!! ??

South Suffolk and Suffolk County-Kestral went literally foot perfect those days, and it was heart-breaking to sit below wrong-legs and god awful shows.

First rc show with my ROR. He was pulled second out of 34 then unceremoniously decked the ride judge. Ooops

First rc show with my ROR. He was pulled second out of 34 then unceremoniously decked the ride judge. Ooops Did you get moved up a place then. ;D Mine was my mare doing a prefect show and fab gallop to be placed below a very nice horse who wrong legged it twice, tried to fix but the third effort wrong again so just continued . I was horrified. Apparently the judge went on confirmation and type. Hmmmm ok so why did we just do a ridden show Should have just ran em up in-hand.

Ohhh actualy i can pick the worst of all. It was with my old 13.2 mare, who is a proper hunter. She was 16 at the time so we put her in the vetran class, she did a fab show and gallop. there was 8 in the class. we were 7th... the judge had put ponies that clearly ran off with the riders, bucked, wrong legged it, napped, pulled and even reared above my pony... She should of won by a mile off, i was fuming. Needless to say we never returned to that show, a total waste of money. About 5 people then came up to me after the class and told me we should of won which was nice. Never seen such a shambles in my life before.

Mine was in a first ridden class and I went to do the first canter and my pony bucked so I kicked him on and asked for the canter on the other rein and my pony bucked all the way down the long side!! I was so embarressed!! I was put right to the end of the line and judge said "what a nasty pony". He isn't, he was having an off day and had been in about 3 other class and wanted to go home!!

A few lol.. Worst with Monty- I used to love and love and love jumping, and went into the class of around about 7 or 8 in riding club pony. I was like 2nd to last to go, about 1 pony had cleared it but that had wrong legged, Monty is a good pony and I knew I could win the class. Did a decent show but ended up being ages from the jump, so when we go there he decked me straight off! to make it worse it's on video ;D
with Bow there has been a few, but mainly due to my nerves or her lazyness, I took her to a welsh show and I was literally in hysterics because she was being really naughty and I was scared as hell xD, got calmed down then I went in and got 4th out of about 17 ;D also have been in classes pulled near top, above good ponies then have literally walked round the ring because she would not move.. :L

the worst show for me must have been NF 2 years running i have had a very good pull in the line up and done a foot perfect show until the last few strides of canter when my pony will change leg and then stop cantering. that is the worst for my pony the worst for judging is coming second to a pony that was hopping lame and i mean hopping to about 5 minutes to it to do its show witch was only in walk as the poor little girl could not get it to move!!!!!!!!

This may be the last show i went to at Osbaldeston - was in the show hunter class with my little working hunter pony and he was by far the best looking/type in the class which there was 5 in - got in the go round and had trouble keeping him steady - got bunged at the end of the line below an overweight show pony, and others which my pony could of easily beaten but in his show went to do the extension down one long side - ended up having to try patting him after we had done a full circuit of gallop - needless to say we got last out of 5...... Another one was at Crow wood working hunter - in the 75cm class did a nice clear round and went back in to do my show with about another 20 horses and ponies and he was getting excited because there was that many in the ring that it was quite cramped so she starts pulling them in and when she pulled in the 2nd to last horse and i was still walking round she invited the 1st person out to do their show so i had to just pressume i was at the end... and my pony being 13.2hh put alot of effort into doing that round and he was up against 16.2-17hh which find 75cm easy which i didnt really think was fair but we havent been back there since!

Was at a show when the weather was very dry and ground was very hard, not much grass coverage (good job was only inhand) Anyway as was doing the Trot on the go round i slipped and went straight under the tape and knocked about 4 people over in the process. The pony carried on to the back of the line, i got up dusted my self off and carried on with class, Judge then came up to me at end of class and said 'This pony would have won if you could have kept yourself upright, You spoilt it'. I was godsmacked! Found it all very comical to though xx

My worst show was probably the supreme showdown a at Aintree last year (never going again) Flutes (the sp) didnt settle at all, he was leaping like a frog, and spooking at everything, so I was sent out in the go round, so I was like "omg finally" i didnt want to stay in and embarrass my self :L.

Don't get me started... My worst show was at Redcow Farm. I was riding Angel and she bucked and knocked the judge but I got 1st place and was like: .... Second from worst was when I was in a local show at the local stables and it was in the out-field and I was doing an excellent trot, girl in front got jealous and slowed her horse down so her horse kicked me and I still got 1st place because the judge was watching her pull the reins towards her stomach so her horse kicked Angel. The girl was disqualified. Xxx
