Hello all!
Help please on concours d'elegance. Please can someone tell me how it works, do you have to qualify or have special membership etc etc. I have no idea and I would like to do it.

You don't have to qualify or be a member, but if you are a member it's free to enter, otherwise it's £5  |

Thanks Faye, do you have to do an individual show etc and how do you know what to wear? Complete amateur at this as you can tell but your help would've hugely appreciated!

ggnutty ... if you are going to compete in the concours classes at equifest you really need a proper outfit as the standard is very high i make elegant, traditional concours d'elegance outfits and if you would like to read up on the subject, please visit my webswite www.concours-couture.com (my tel no is 01704 232769 and email jackie.pop@btinternet.com) I am delighted to say that Concours-Couture outfits are proving hugely successful with many wins and championships throughout the UK .... here are a few pics to whet your appetite (and to answer your question, no, an individual show is not normally requested at Equifest as it would take so long to get thru the large concours classes altho at some other shows in the UK a short individual show may be requested of just a few of the competitors in large classes or maybe all competitors at smaller shows):  |

My daughter has an amazing outfit made by nicki from neds online. She works closely with clients and is just well amazing . We were really quite picky over what we wanted well my 6yr old was and Nicki worked within the guidelines she set . lol We always get comments when worn as she doesn't do any 2 outfits the same .

All outfits are made to order & she will not duplicate any item.
Children's to Adults sizes all at very reasonable prices.
