Horrendous for everyone involved! As a child my friends older sister had her horse taken from underneath her by a driver cutting in, he actually took the ponies back legs off with the force of the impact, poor girl was stuck under her dead pony until crews could free her! When are drivers going to learn ? It only takes a few seconds.

ohh my god such heart breaking stories. We really need to educate young drivers about slowing down and going wide. I am lucky to have been able to explain the dangers of going too close to a horse to my partner who is a biker. He in turn is educating his fellow bikers to slow down and go wide !!! It is a horrible waste of life. My heart goes out to all those who have lost their horses due to inconsiderate drivers

It is awful. I cannot imagine loosing Monty or Bow to such a monstrosity like this it makes me nervous to ride out, Driver's do need to be more aware! Not all driver's though, some are well educated, A nice gentlemen once stopped his car and turned of the engine, got out and helped me! Some people just don't appreciate that horses aren't like cars, they have they're own mins! but the thought of riding out, for we have to cross a main rode and go up several 'rat runs' it makes me nervous to ride out! Almost as if we should NOT be on the road, like we're doing something wrong. RIP To everyone who has lost their horses, their best friends to these awful brutalities

That's awful I can't even describe how awful and disgusting and vile this is, I can't even imagine how that must have been like, it's almost like the driver butchered the horse like it was meat!! why can't people learn this?! I don't even know what to put because I'm so shocked and horrified
