Hi i'm totally confused, 1 of mine has qualified for the M&M whp final and a normal WHP final but her height section is restricted to jockey age catagories like in normal plaited WHP classes, yet when i qualified for this there were ladies much older than me doing the same class and it wasn't a M&M workers, so which class does this mean we have qualified for?? or do i get to enter another M&M final like the breed one??? HELP HELP HELP as ive never done equifest and if i can get this sorted i will come and bring the others with me. thanks ellanore xx

Do you have the schedule for Equifest? Some of the qualifying shows have amalgamated classes for the WHPs - so it is possible that there were mixed ages/heights within your classes. The Equifest Championship classes are divided in the "standard" way - so the plaited WHPs are restricted by age of rider and the height of pony, whereas the M&M WHP classes are divided according to the height of the pony with no age restriction on the rider. If you have the schedule (or have looked on line) classes 1-561 are all open classes - that you do not have to qualify for and the Equifest Championship classes are 700-789. All of the criteria for the classes are stated within the class wordings.

So in other word's I've qualified for 2 lots of M&M classes as me and the pony combined are not eligible for the other working hunter pony classes?. I just want to compete in the championship classes that I have qualified for, I'll be travelling up just to do those, so can I enter 2 M&M finals?. As I have qualified for 2 different workers? Thanks xx

If you are not eligible for the plaited WHP Championship (either by your age or the pony's height) then you will only be able to do the M&M WHP championship class at Equifest. You will only be able to enter one of the Equifest M&M championship class with your pony - the classes for these are divided according to the height of the pony. The full criteria for each class is stated in the schedule - if you do not have a schedule please can you pm me with your address and I will send you one. Classes 1-561 are all open though - and you can enter any of these classes providing you fit the criteria stated in the class description.
