HOYS Classes now at AINTREE

HOYS Qualifying Classes at Aintree National Show - Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July

Due to the sad cancellation of Nantwich Show which was due to take place on Wednesday 25th July, Horse of the Year Show have kindly given us HOYS qualifiers for our Lightweight and Heavyweight Cob Classes (Classes 80 and 81). Please note entries for these classes will be taken until MONDAY 23rd JULY. Please email or post your entries if you would like to take part in these classes. The entry fee will now be £25 (Included the HOYS Levy)

The Judges for classes 80 and 81 will now be the following:-

Mr M.S Tory MFH (Shropshire) Conf
Miss R Helliwell (Cumbria) Ride

A huge thank you must go to the British Show Horse Association and Horse of the Year Show for allowing us to take on the qualifiers at Aintree.

I dont' have cobs or large horses, but in my opinion a venue well worthy of holding HOYS qualifiers. Heres hoping for more in future years The North could do with a few more

What time will the hoys classes run, I have looked on the schedule and cant see the HOYS classes. thanks in advance

The HOYS Cob classes are now classes 80 and 81 as detailed in the post above.

The Cob classes start at 8am with the Novice Ridden Cob (class 78) in first, followed by the Maxi Cob (Class 79). Then we will go onto the HOYS classes.

The HOYS Cob Classes will not start before 9am.

We have plenty of stabling available should you require them to stay over. £35 for one night with x2 bales of bedding (permanent well built stables) ;D

Class numbers will not be going up, but a timetable will be on our website from Thursday
