My section C colt foal doesn't re tract his willy up in to his sheath. A bit always seems to be dangling and i have noticed he wees little and often. never noticed it on any of my other colts, although they were A's and lower to the ground so to speak. He's very sharp and although mum comes over, he keeps his distance, so can't get hold of him to have a proper look. He's due for worming (should be fun) but wouldn't have thought that would affect his bladder? Any ideas please?

I had a much older colt that got kicked in that area and was very swollen, I got out my Vet and we had to massage daily with baby oil, cant say he liked it and I resorted to very gently using a large sponge attached to a broom stick, however it did the job

A bit like going to the dentist i think ! Called the vet out to have a look and when he got here it was all tucked away nicely in place! Luckily he was here for something else as well so not a wasted call out!!
