If you are staying in a tent all week, i just wanted some ideas as to what food you all bring and how you cook it and store it??

We went in tents last year. We took a little camping stove and grill thingy to do brews and toast in the morning. That was about it really apart from crisps and pot noodles. We ate at the showground the 1st day then decided it was better due to the price of a toastie being about £4 to go to the harvester for tea for a couple of nights and we also drove to tescos to pick a few bits up aswell :-)

Yes - not much in the way of decent food at Equifest. We are taking tins, pasta, cereal etc x

We've go an electric BBQ - used this last year & will be doing the same this year, but obviously need the electric hook up or a geni. You could always take a George Foreman. Other than that a little one burner stove, tinned food, pot noodles, sandwiches. Chips from food bars, but this can work out expensive. Surprisingly with 2 ponies last year & being busy food took second place. I would recommend the electric hook up if you can manage it. So much easier for cooking, toaster with tostie bags, kettle, plug in fridge box, lights etc and keeping the wine cool

Disposable bbq's a must, we also take a little camping stove, a very large cool box and freeze all you can to put in it plus some ice and it's always kept us going for 3 or 4 days.

We have a cool box that'll keep our food chilled for the duration! It's fab!
