Same with the snow! We also have an indoor but I don't like cantering in it because oli can't balance so it's back to walk and trot and canter on the Pessoa  |

Managed to get the lorry out of the yard and went for a ride with moss and cowboy in a near indoor arena. Think we'll need to do that every day until the champs... Yay...  |

It will probably all be worth it though just managed to get out on a hack and one of the by ways at the bottom of the valley has flooded like a proper river so hopefully trotting through it a few times a week will help Andy get over his fear of water!! |

Urgh how miserable. Went to a dinner party last night, left at 11:30pm, on our way home and went up a hill and all the snow had blown over the road. We managed to get halfway up the hill when we stopped and slid into the ditch we were in a 4x4. Me, my brother and dad got out and rocked it out of little hole it was in but it made it even worse and went even more into the hedge:L we had to wait half an hour for our uncle got there with the tractor and tried numerous ways to get it out but it dragged us across the thorn hedge and took out wingmirror off and scratched the whole side of the car:( we got back at 1:30am this morning... SOO TIREDDD! Had a nice school on Winnie and nougles, in the SNOWWWW. There wa lots of snow in the school though... Going Showjumping tomorrow... EXCITED FOR THE CHAMPS! ;D |

Not going to BSPS anymore as the pony I was supposed to be riding as been professionally schooled so if I rode her I wouldn't be eligible for the pretty polly classes on Ole! But i'm going to POYS that week instead, going to groom for some friends!  So much snow, well nothing compared to up north, but my school is 'open as usual tomorrow' urgh! |

I went to the Manchester concert it was incredible! well worth the price! Going showing on my birthday on Sunday (Easter Sunday! yay!) but on tuesday the trailer was under a 10ft snowdrift - hopefully todays sun will mean that it thaws so we can get it out! |

*copy and pasted form BSPS winter Champs thread because couldnt be bothered to write it again*  Well I shall start with the gold cup. Nougles did the novice 13hh, good dressage test, clear and 4th in the workers, clear Showjumping with one time fault because we were two seconds slow? Anyway, star in the evening performance and was 4th... Proud moment! Then I did the Novice 14hh on Winston, seeing as I forgot the test and kept going out the arena and was doing wobbly circles he managed to get the highest dressage test! Wowowowowoweee.... Then he had the plank down in the workers so didn't get through to the evening but we got first dressage so didn't matter!! Friday the po's had a day off in the ring. Saturday came and nougles was early into the novice 13hh SHP.. Did a good go round and we were all asked to extend along the long side, heheheb all th ponies did swishy tail shuffles and then there's nougat absolutely pelting it down the side, I think it was TOO much of an 'extension' did a good show, and we had to see of we were in the evening. We put him back in his stable for a rest and chilled for a few hours. 1:00pm comes and we hop on nougat and do the novice 13hh worker, it was tiny! I go clear, do my show and lead up and wait to see if I'm in the finals for the evening. I am in the evening in the workers so we all go in and line up. I am absolutely stunned when they call my number and guide me to the two pillars! I was so happy, cannot believe he won, it was such a big class! so happy Yayayayay We then go into the championship with all the other novice worker winners and seconds and have a trot canter etc... Line up and my number was called again! Champion novice worker Leamington Nougat II! He had NEVER EVER had a sash on before and he was such a good boy, didn't even think about the flappy thing hanging round his neck! I was shaking like a wreck when I got off, I was so proud of him and how grown up he was about the whole evening. We let him rest for an hour before we got him out for the supreme..... Supreme comes and we walk into the arena and do an individual show... I have to say nougles show was the best show he had ever done and I enjoyed every moment of it... His gallop was by far the best and everybody wooped and cheered as we went up the long side... Although we didn't get supreme I was so proud of how good he was and how far we have come together, I didn't want the moment to end! We got back to the stables and the carrot man was there... He had lots of carrots for tea and a well earned rest That's my champs, sorry for the extremely long text How was everybody else's champs? ;D |

So, how was everyones easter?? My holidays so far have been amazing!! So, today I went on a clinic with NICOLA WILSON AAAHH, I took my baby Triumph, it was her first outing and she was so good awh :') Then at the end Nicola was showing us her olympic medal and was letting us hold it and try it on, it was massive  Took my schoolmistress to a show on Saturday just for a bit of fun, she jumped one out of 2 clears in the smaller class, and won! So we decided to put her in the equifest qualifier, and shes not that fit so she didn't jump as well, but still went clear and we came 2nd and qualified ;D I was so pleased especially since it was her first competition in over a year I'd been bathing her for about 3 hours... shes been living out unclipped with no rug on, and shes grey Aaaand, after a bit of a rocky start with my new boy Mic he's going really well, hopefully I'm going to take him to a little show on Sunday and see how he goes Choppytrotty... Well done at the champs thats brilliant!! Now going to stuff myself with chocolate - I love easter!! xx |

Well done at the champs everyone!! ;D Very jealous of you all!! POYS was good, Tasha won her qualifier and was 3rd in the 148cm final and Phoebe won the 138cm final so good few days for Team Selwood! ;D we had to stay in a horsebox with no heating and a bed with no mattress, it was warmer outside... Anyway I was sooo ill and had to come home early and have spent the first few days of the holiday in bed:/ typical!! Feeling a bit better now though... IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW GUYSSSSSS! 16 waaaah! Ponies are looking really good at the minute actually, all of a sudden, since I got back from POYS, Ole has a lovely summer coat!? BSPS Area 16 on Saturday, our area show Ole is doing the RIHS 143cm SHP and the RIHS PP Large SHP - fingers crossed for a ticket after a 2nd last time... What an amaing birthday present that would be hahahahha, I'm dreaming(; & Ronnie is doing the Novice 143cm WHP! Anyone else there? Xxx |
