Can anyone tell me what the workers rings are like? And do you think they'll be using them come friday?
Hoping for a really good tough course for the M n M workers final.

Ok just arrived home from hickstead where wind is blowing but touch wood hasnt rained yet. The rings are holding up well with good ground, the odd wet patch but in general good. Parking is difficult but not as bad as new forest an dthey are using additional fields which are not so wet. They are jumping in the large arena so you cant work in in there but there is other places to work in. All in all think they are doing a fab job and fingers crossed weather will hold out,. The ground is quite hard in places after the sun and wind has dried it out. SHP Results 13 - Jack Starkeys pony is it yealand second at hoys last year 2nd out of the blue adam winbourne
14 - Rotherwood Maybe think chesnut I know rowanoak next generation ws 4th and thompsons other one 5th
15 - petoria
A lot went badly today, ponies hittting wrong legs and spooking all over the place. Didnt see 15hh but thought other classes very well judged with good shows rewarded. Both maybe and jack's pony went brilliantly and deserved there win. Yes Jasper was in it but he didnt go well thus proving i guess that even the best pony has it off day. Well done to everyone competing today and to everyone who has worked so hard to keep it going

Been looking at the JMB website. Does anyone know why Moortown Honeyman was measured after HOYS. He went Champion but his height isn't listed. Halnaker Marten was measured.

I think they only measure the ones with a life height. Ones with annual height dont get measured till they get a life.

Watched both 13hh and 12hh classes, very worthy winners both, the ground seemed to be holding up well, but was not so good in odd patches. There did seem to be a lot of 'fresh' ponies in the rings, the gallop being the obvious place to take the odd liberty. The 15hh workers course was scopey and testing, something to really get your teeth into, well done to the two clears!!
