I know some people will disagree but my whippet is with E and L it costs about £11 per month. He caught himself on barbed wire about a month ago. His stitches etc cost £208. I am banking the check for £114 (less excess). No fuss, no questions. I am satisfied with them.

Ha! Up until a few months ago I would have recommended Argos who I have had both my dog's insured with for at least 7 years. Never had a problem with them paying up for anything. Unfortunately I had to have my youngest dog pts due to illness and I have had nothing but trouble with them From them losing my claim forms 3 times! To me getting a letter telling me about renewing my insurance for the dog I had pts. IMO since Argos have passed there policies on to Royal Sun alliance I wouldn't touch them with barge pole

I use John Lewis. Fair price and pay up quickly.Even reduce premium rather than raise it.Used them for 4 years.

Pet plan, perhaps more costly than some other companies but the easiest to deal with and quickest to pay out. Goin off the experience ive had dealing with claims at work (i work in a vets)

Petplan are more expensive but don't apply exclusions. They cover conditions for life. That's if you take out the insurance before the illness or problem is diagnosed. I have claimed off them and it was easy and straightforward.

Petplan or asda. Petplan do cover for life whereas most insurance only covers illness or injury for 12 months x
