Evening all! I dreamt that my teeth were falling out again the other day, it's a recurrent theme I have it every so often. I think it's a health insecurity I am a bit of a hypochondriac!
Been to horses and took some pics today I will post some in a bit if I get chance.

DL I've heard of that one before and I think it's when you grind your teeth in your sleep.

Evening all Last night I dreamt it was 5pm on Christmas Eve and I'd forgotten to get the turkey - I actually woke up, heart pounding!! I don't need to psychoanalyse that though - it's just my subconscious reminding me what a rubbish organisor I am!! There's a documentary on Channel 4 tonight about two of the Queen's cousins who were basically locked away from public view because they had learning difficulties - one's still alive and in her eighties - looks really interesting

If you google your teeth falling out dream you get quite a variety of answers from being about to come into money (related to the tooth fairy ;D) to anxiety falling away or being anxious depending on which you believe to illness in a family member the list is pretty extensive so take your pick ;D

Did anyone watch Master Chef ?
Claire was on top form tonight. Her food looked so good.
Afraid my presentation skills (like the cooking ones) leave much to be desired.

No I don't watch cooking programmes they make me feel inadequate Viking is your user name derived from the shipping forecast - that thought just came to me this morning when I was trying to get back to sleep with the radio on Bit of a random question I know!

Claire was amazing, I would have loved to have eaten both her dishes viking, she loves her white and green Bit disappointed in whatshisname but I think if he gets back on form him and her will be amazing. Hope little Claire can cope with the pressure, she's so young. I loved the shipping forecast when I was little, my parents always listened to it, no idea why!! Dogger, Tyne, whatsit byte and all that LOL!

The one I can never quite get is North atsera, south atsera. Obviously i'll have spelt that wrong because I haven't a clue what it's meant to say. I love listening to it too - no idea why either as we are about as inland as you can get but it is almost poetic! I must get a life

Viking lies to the East of us KJM. Not far off. That wee guy leaping up and down with rage, would have been a neighbour years gone by, that's why I'm so pleased to have him, and glad Lukey found him for me. His island is still there, as are the remnants of his great hall, and some times when I look out on a magical moonlit night, I wonder whether I shall ever see his dragon headed galley silently slipping past.

LOL Viking you been on the pain killers mixed with a bottle of wine again!!!
I blame my current bad mood and temper (normally fairly dull and placid but not at the moment I'm not!) on my viking heritage. Well I assume I have some Viking heritage it's highly likely.

There is something hypnotic about the shipping forecast, and the dulcet tones of whatever her name is who often does it, she's sort of fisherman's porn I would imagine!

There's been a programme about insomnia on telly tonight they never mentioned listening to the shipping forecast - maybe we should let them know.

PMSL indeed kjm, not a bad idea. I'd probably be dreaming fish, vikings and imagining fisherman rather enjoying the forecast all night, knowing my luck I'd wake up sea sick! I always think the early morning crowd - Morning amwap - must wonder how on earth we get onto half the odd subjects we do late at night in here.

I'm afraid at the time some of the early birds are being bright and sociable I'll still be mooching round in silence with my hood up communicating in grunts - I dont do mornings, at least not cold dark ones. humphhhh!!!!!!

No wine haggis, but I'm needing the pain killers. Just caught that wretched boot on the corner of the desk and given that tendon hell.
Not much sleep again tonight......!
I find the fishing forecast rather poetical too.

Night KJM hope the seas aren't too rough for you tonight!!
VIking I can't tell you how many painkillers I went through. I had to give up the prescription ones (can't remember what they were) as they were killing my stomach, but I did over do everything else I could get hold of, in fact I still do take them if I've done a lot of walking or driving (that accelerator position is a killer) or fall out of the horse box or turn it over on rough ground that is hideous.
Poor you.
Are they going to operate on it or did I miss that and they already have?
(modified for terrible grammar and repetition ;D)

No they decided not to. I'm stuck with this bucket on the end of my leg to goodness only knows when.
I'm wondering what I shall be left with to be honest. I'm not expecting it to be good as new, and I think you've just confirmed that.
Hellish isn't it, and painful in the extreme, and pain killers, killers in their own right!

Night Viking - it does get better, every week I can see a massive difference, but mine was replaced with a new tendon from elsewhere on the foot so I guess I have a whole new tendon to wear in, I equate it to an elastic band that they wound a bit too tight and it's taken 18 months to stretch it enough to get it doing what it should.
Hope you have a peaceful night too.

So bored I can hear the silence - in fact I can hear the blood swooshing and the nothingness between my ears - insomnia is terribly dull

Morning all HM, I sometimes dread clicking into here when I can see the last post was made in the middle of the night LOL. I wonder what sort of madness I'm going to find, but it usually wakes me up quicker than the 3 coffees I usually need. I used to struggle to sleep, or wake up in the middle of the night (before I had frankie though) and I found that those herbal nightols were really good. They don't make you feel drowsy or woozy, just all relaxed and sleepy. When I changed my job to a less stressful one all the insomnia went so maybe work out whats making you stressed and try and eliminate that. Give the problems 10 minutes thought before you go to bed then pop it in a box and don't open it until morning. Easier said than done I know but I found it useful. Bloody tired this morning though, OH was awake at 4 am (he doesn't listen to my insomnia advice) listening to some rubbish on TV. Will tell him to find the shipping forecast instead next time LOL. TFI FRIDAY
