Could anyone tell me the best place on the outskirts of London to park up and get the tube or park and ride into the city? Driving from the North. Thanks

Why not drive all the way to Olympia. Car park right by the show. Costs £ 20 and can be pre booked.

Think this is what we are going to have to do as Ive looked for alternative transport but nothing gets us in in time but Olympia have no parking spaces available now so dont know where else to park

On a Sunday (which the M&M finals is on this year, and am guessing you are going to?) then there will be lots of nearby street parking you can use rather than pay £20 for on site car park. And no congestion charge either, yay! Lexy

Or alternatively, drive to somewhere which would get you direct link on tube/train - such as Ealing Broadway or Chiswick (District line to Barons Court or West Kensington, both only 10 mins walk from Olympia) or Willesden Junction (near bottom of M1, and overground line direct to Kensington Olympia station). Tube map: www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloads/standard-tube-map.gifBut yes I would just drive to Olympia. It is Sunday before Christmas, so London actually gets a lot quieter than normal as people tend to leave to go away for Christmas. Lexy

Also checked our car and it says it is not subject to the LEZ.

Ah OK, on Saturday the parking will be more restricted around Olympia/Kensington. But you will probably be fine to find somewhere further out as suggested. Or just pay for parking at NCP. Good luck

If you are struggling to find parking, what about seeing if there is a bus from your area heading down to Olympia? We used to get a bus at a nearby motorway station and it would drop you off outside Olympia

Ive been looking at Willesden Junction which seems ok, Im sure we will sort something out, thanks for all your help, much appreciated. We did once get a bus through a riding club many years ago but that was for the Saturday night.
