Hi, im looking for judging posts. I judge at unafilliated/riding club.
I have a total of over 35 yrs experience with horses, which include riding, schooling, teaching, showing including some producing. I have now taken a back seat from riding due to a old injury, so all i do is a little inhand showing for others.
Anyway getting down to the reason why i am putting something on here, i am looking for judging appointments.
I like to judge ridden showing, equitation, and in-hand, but have judged most other classes in the past.
I am based near Oldham, nr Manchester, but will travel within a reasonable distance, would possible consider further away if needed, at cost obviously of accomadation aswel as other general costs.
I am reliable and very fair, please pm me for available dates, and if i can help you out, i will.

Hi there, just renewing my post I'm looking for unaffiliated/riding club judging opportunities in East Anglia. I have been showing all of my life, including successes at HOYS and Olympia. I have been involved in breeding, reporting for equine magazines and stewarding. I am now looking to start some judging, I have already done a couple of shows earlier in the season (which I enjoyed and went well). hi, always lookin for judges to come and judge our hunter shows on the isle of wight, its usually in july 10th ish a ride judge would be nice, not to far away as we are a fund raiser for the iw foxhounds also a mixed mountain and moorland judge for our ring 2, we will of course pay travel and provide you with a 3 course lunch ;D ;D pm me please if you are intrested pannel or not we come with very good references  ;D |

Hello looking to start my judging career, have done a few in the past but would like to do more, east anglia area, showing for over 20 years, natives, coloureds, have produced cobs and various others for the ring also. Able to judge ridden and inhand.

It would be very useful if available judges could put their location on their post. Some have this on their profile but many don't. Whilst costs/expenses are very important to show organisers. The distance a judge has to travel and other associated costs e.g. Overnight accomodation etc. are crucial to a limited budget.
Our organisation runs several shows over the year, we are based in the North-West/Lancashire area. We have affiliated classes/sections/shows also some un-affiliated. Ridden/In-Hand. We also require 'Stewards' - please pm me if you are interested or can assist us in any way.
Thanks to everyone who has participated in this post especially the original poster 'Guestless' such a worthwhile topic.

NORTH EASTERN COUNTIES WELSH PONY & COBS SOCIETY Welsh Panel Judges wanted for shows we hold at Richmond EC near Catterick. Summer Bronze Medal Show - Sunday 12th August 2012 - Cob judge for both C & D sections and Sec B judge to include unaffiliated RPB, HPB & PBW. All in hand. Saturday night accommodation and refreshments on the day provided plus travelling expenses. Would be prepared to offer the appointments to judges from the south if they could travel together! I notice several posts suggesting this and think it a great idea as it opens our shows up to adjudicators we would not normally be able to afford. We also run unafiliated M&M and Coloured both in hand and ridden and would welcome anyone living within driving distance to cover those classes. Feel free to e mail me. margaretrandall21@hotmail.com We also run a Foal/Youngstock show at the same venue on Saturday 11th November 2012 and again need Welsh Panel Judges for the two cob sections and Sect B etc. etc. Would especially welcome anyone new to the panel.

Well, it's that time of year again and I thought I would update my listing on here I'm looking for unaffiliated judging appointments this year. I am on the Amateur Showing Society panel and aiming to go forward for BSHA etc this year. Experienced steward and judge (RC level/Equifest qualifiers/lower level championship shows), worked for top horse producers on and off for 10 years now (gap year, uni holidays, in between "London jobs", weekends etc) and happy to judge all sorts of classes. Based in central London (or Junction 8/9 of M4, where horse is kept) but happy to travel a reasonable distance for appointments. PM me in first instance please. I would also be happy to steward at large county/affiliated/RIHS-HOYS Q type shows (with panel judges, specifically) and am very competent at leg-ups etc, so on the offchance that someone is perusing this thread and looking for a steward for such a show, please PM me. |
