16.2 10 year old tb chestnut mare.
She is a real chunky type of tb with a leg on each corner and plenty of substance and bone. She has been well schooled and has a fantastic temperament, the type that you can pick up and put down without her being silly. She would do dressage very happily and would show but early in her fitness work will make a slight noise. It does get better but she punctured her plura when she was younger and as a resulted makes a bit of a noise. However this has never affected her in any way.
She has no vices and is super sweet to deal with at all times. Up to date with vaccinations teeth, worming and physio.
We have hacked her out, and she is brilliant with company, on her own she can be a bit looky but has never done anything awful.
She travels very well (only ever travelled on a lorry).
We are looking to re home her because we have no one here to ride her any more, my girls have young families and hold down full time jobs. She is totally wasted and does enjoy her work.
We recently sent her away to get her back into work ready to sell and sadly she had an azoturia attack. She recovered very quickly, but i decided to have her back home sort out her diet and re assess what to do with her. She has no damage to her muscles and there is no reason why she cannot be brought back into work slowly and carefully with proper management. I want to find her a home where she will give someone a lot of fun but it has to be a knowledgable loving kind home. I have debated what would be the best life for her and ofcourse she could be a brood mare but really there is no reason why she cant have a happy healthy ridden life. I will add that unfortunately she does not like jumping, never has and has no ability whatsoever.
I am asking a nominal amount for her because the most important thing is the home.
I would prefer a home where she can be stabled overnight but she should have some time out every day.
This has probably been one of the toughest decisions that i have had to make but keeping her here, not working is not what is best for her.
