Get your horses teeth checked / rasped? Having looked into this recently opinions vary from 6 months to as and when? Am intrigued to know what you think on this?

I would say yearly, but more for youngsters and oldies. And any time you think they are not happy in the mouth for any reason.

Not a fan of electrical i have had all i have owned done by hand, mine has a 6 monthly check then see if he needs at at 4 rising 5 he is needing a routine one at most visits, i think as a childs pony i look after his teeth back and muscles if i expect him to behave, i think electrical rasping is lazy and far from accurate.

Our Dentist tells us at the end of her visit when she feels she needs to come again....Last time, she said we could leave it 12mths....It gets expensive as 1 of our has to be sedated too....
