Hi
I was wondering what was expected in the young ridden 5 and 6 year old classes, is it just a normal set show? Also we a re looking to enter one horse in at least 3 different classes I'm hoping they wont clash but if they do will they wait for rider?
Thanks

the young horse classes should be judged on a simple show format, will not be ridden by the judge. it is a easy going show and the outside rings are right next to each other so should be able to get in and out pretty easy providing you check with the judges first. we have tried to design the schedule so as to avoid clashes.

During 2012 I bred my first coloured foal, but sadly the dam died of colic. The foal pulled through and is now a big yearling, ready to start his showing carrier on Saturday in the Sports Horse class. BIG NEW WORLD IS "CHAPS" new rules to learn, red armbands!!!, youngstock evaluation, then the gradings. Can't wait to get started and kiss winter goodbye

Someone said pre entries wouldn't be posted but then deleted their post so really not sure. I'm sure my cheque has been cashed so hopefully they got the entries!

I hate sending cheques anywhere after a nasty experience and normally use mums cheque book however she is in Anglesey and wasn't keen on posting two blank signed cheques to me! Will go to the bank tomorrow to check they have been cashed. Also sent my jockeys membership off at the same time so no idea if that will be processed in time!

Please can everyone take notice who are attending the CHAPS(UK) Spring Festival and/or Grading - there will be increased Biosecurity measures in place due to ongoing outbreaks of EHV. Further info can also be found on the CHAPSuk Facebook page as well as website. Thank you
