Equifest is myself and my mums little holiday we dont just go to compete we go to relax and enjoy ourselves instead of working full time and never seeing each other! I think you should definately come along to join the atmosphere. When people are posting on facebook what a fab time they are having you will regret it Good luck persuading hubby!

Yes Ive been the last few years to help friends. Unfortunatly I end up coming back more tired than when I go :-( doesn't help that I sleep in a tent and last year was right by the main gate where the bedding was and the security light and generator was on all night and the first night we were there we had 2 stallions falling out in the sponsors stables all night :-(

LOL yes, in our first year we were parked next to the security light and generator !! It was torture ! Section a's also found it kept them awake, so screamed all night ! Its such a fab show though..... worth the hardships of yucky showers and no sleep

I would NEVER take my OH - he would make my life a misery and I wouldn't be able to enjoy it at all. He came for one night last year and moaned and looked miserable for the few hours he was there!

LOL - I am thinking of taking a different horse this year, so it will be totally new experience for us both! I am a bit worried about her bringing down the temporary stables if she gets stressed though ?
