Thought I would just share a few pics of my part bred Arab stallion Nache. He is only 5 and I have only owned him since the 11th may this year, in this space I have completely broken him in from scratch myself and he is now riding forward nicely, my biggest struggle has been getting weight and body on him especially as he has covered a few mares too. I am really pleased with him even though we have a long way to go and a lot of homework to do to prepare him for grading next spring.

Thankyou philippa He is 37.5% Arab, 12.5% American saddle bred, 25% quarter horse and 25% good old gypsy cob. He is 14.2hh and he moves as straight as straight can be. He has foals due next spring so no live foals on the ground yet but I'm very excited to see what he throws

Yes I have covered two top bred welsh D's one a pure derwen bred mare and the other a hillgarth 3 time silver medal winner and I have covered my mums homozygous centyfield cascade polish warmblood mare. I have just been offered a pink papered Holstein mare too which I am considering for covering in spring for a 2014 foal. I am very excited to see his offspring. His previous owner also covered her HOYS coloured mare too xx

Sounds very exciting. Nice over the small warm bloods to breed sports ponies.

Yes and he's got a right pop in him too but I'm not a jumper so may need a good little jump jockey for him when we move in to that phase lol x

I'm only doing in hand but will take his tack and if he's well behaved I will have a ride round the show ground and see how he copes with that. X

He was really well behaved, in the evening performances and everything, had one little slip up where he reared in front of the judge in sports horse but I can forgive that, didn't win anything as I think he's just still a bit lean at the minute and my back packed in after day one so had to have a couple of different people run him out for me and one I them he didnt like so wouldn't run for her in the Arab class

he is lovely. I started using wheat feed around 2 months ago (excellent for weight gain)and the difference in my horses is fab. its also known as sharps or thirds (looks like bran0, cheap to pay £7.00 pound for a big bag... took mine off outshine for winter and put them on this and it works wonders... good luck with him he is a beaut xxx I also have a pba and a pure bred arab who can fizz easily and this doesn't affect them at all... xxxx
