It is with great sadness that I write this post
But we have made the very difficult decision to have Ernford Bellboy put to sleep at the age of 24.
Some of you may remember him in his hay day under saddle, with his fantastic movement, no doubt his best results included being best of breed at Olympia three times.
He has sired many outstanding ponies both In Hand and under saddle...........including 3 Royal Welsh In Hand winners, a HOYS winner, a Reserve Champion at Olympia and in 2012 the Champion SHP at HOYS and many many more...........far to many for me to mention!.
One thing we do know is there will never be another Bellboy................thank you for everything Bell.......

I owned stambrook wedding belle when she was a youngster and she was a fantastic pony sired by ernford bellboy, rip

I remember him, particularly at Olympia, such a beautiful pony and a great asset to the breed.

So very sorry. We have a grandson of his, named in his honour (Larkhaven Another Bellboy, by Boston Bellboy)
One of a kind. RIP handsome little man.

Very sad to hear this, he is ne of my favourite ponies. I have a son and grandson of his and my mum has a daughter.

I was so sad to read this, I remember Bellboy on the circuit, he was awesome and I longed to ride him! A great credit to his breed, owners and trainers, rest in peace old fella x
