I have paid this person £250 into her Nationwide account for a Samantha Saddle - this was just before the warnings were posted. Saddle has not arrived - no reponse to texts and no reply to phone. Has anyone else paid her anything - can we get together and try a co-rdinated approach with police etc?

You can put a claim through courts, also report the fraud to action fraud, national fraud line, I tried to call coulson today. There is a Facebook page "scammed by poppy Eastwood, but beware as she will be watching he site, have collated a lot of info on her now

Everyone who has been a victim needs to contact the investigating officer - Richard Coulson at Kent CID, his email is richard.coulson@met.pnn.police.uk He is keen to hear from anyone who has any information, the more people who contact him the better case he can build for when they finally catch her. |

I noticed that a warning has gone up on NFED site as several people on there have been scammed in the same way, don't meniton any names but it is not that hard to put two and two together  |

I called Kent Police, only to be told very curtly and rudely that they wouldn't deal with this sort of thing ever and that the only people I should contact was my bank. Has anyone got a number for Richard Coulson - incidentally, I do agree that they are not even trying to find her, as it doesn't appear to be rocket science, from what I have read online etc. Bet if we'd caught up with her and got our own back in some way, then be certain we'd then be investigated.......... typical, vile people always just get away with things, whilst being nice, decent and honest, doesn't seem to get you anywhere these days!

Someone that I work with was scammed out of £100 by someone who claimed to be selling dresses. She was in Hull and it was reported to the police, turns out there were lots of cases and sounds very similar situation to this one. Police asked for it to be put in writing as they were building evidence against her and it is actually going to court. Not sure what if anything will come if it though. With regards to people getting money back unfortunately these scumbags often claim they have nothing. If they have nothing in their bank accounts and it is all cash stored under grannys mattress then nobody can take it from them.
Hope something gets done because it is just awful that people get away with it.
It is sad but I think everyone is guilty until proven innocent and trust nobody but close friends!!

Can I also advise people not just to use paypal but also to only deal with people that have a landline, then you have something more concrete to pass onto the police in the event of a scam. It is far more unlikely that people will scam from a landline.

Didn't think you were at all sarah14, just have not got a clue as to what all these signs and symbols mean, as complete technophobe and was just wondering what it meant. As you too have been scammed and know what it feels like, then you wouldn't do it yourself, I'm sure. Just hope the police catch up with her.

I maybe am idea to post a warning on any other open forums , if no body has already , I copied this link and its be circulating around Facebook today by sharing the post , the more awareness you can raise the more likely people will become wiser to her scam ! I posted a " wanted add" today on here and I felt the need to put something about " scammers need not reply to this add" I feel like people might not want to respond to my add because of it but I felt I had to warn those scammers or scammer on here that I will not part with money easily, but only to a genuine seller  ? again the minority rules the Majority ? |

If everyone called on the same day, you would make a huge impression!! the poppy eastwood on the fb group is a different innocent poppy who is getting tarnished with the bit*h from london people know the one on there and she is trying to help sort it too she shows welsh ponies and genuinely is from manchester but because the scammer knows there is one there she is dishing out a manchester address... the group explains it all  |

She originally said she would take Paypal but then changed her mind.
IF there is a true Poppy, trying to sell stuff then she needs to set a working Paypal account, which will help to restore some faith in buying kit.

I don't know if this the genuine one or not, but if it is the honest Poppy, then she isn't helping herself by not a accepting Paypal. She contacted me with a Fylde saddle , which was cheap ! She originally said she would take Paypal but then changed her mind. IF there is a true Poppy, trying to sell stuff then she needs to set a working Paypal account, which will help to restore some faith in buying kit. That sounds like the dodgy poppy I don't think the other poppy has been selling stuff |
