The girl has neither morals nor a conscience and the police seem to be much too busy to deal with her.
She will be reading some of the posts for a laugh but won’t bother with the majority of it as it doesn’t affect her and they certainly won’t stop her.
Until the Police do have time to deal with her, the best form of defence is “Awareness”, is it possible to put a post about scammers on the top of every section that sells items e.g. Transport, tickets tack and clothing and leave it at the top just so anyone who goes into any section to buy something will see it as the page loads. This way more people will be aware and then less people will be scammed. The post could just be a short summary of how she operates and a reminder not to Bank transfer and maybe some of the names she uses with her phone number?

I have collated this information off here and posted it on my facebook to try to warn my frienda and some other people about this persons activities and to try to make them use paypal or to make sure the person is trust worthy. Facebook is a powerful media and hopefully it will make people think a bit before parting with their hard earned cash. IF ANYBODY WANTS TO WARN THEIR FRIENDS PLEASE COPY AND PASTE IT TO YOUR FACEBOOK. Taken from information off the horse gossip site to try and put an end to this persons activities, or you could be her next victim. There is a link to the horse gossip site on my timeline but if you don’t have time to read it this is basically what is happening. Please be aware when buying any horse items from private sellers through the internet, there is a person possibly called Poppy Eastwood from Orpington, Kent who is selling non existent items, she will sell you whatever you want to buy if you advertise for something. She works by sending you a picture of the item you want, you agree to buy it and then she tells you that she does not have paypal and if you want it, it has to be paid for by bank transfer, obviously, the non existent item never arrives and you cannot get your money back. The person doing this goes by a variety of names but they are all the same person, or are involved with her in the scam some of the names she uses are sophie blanchett, penny mccarthy., poppy Valentine, Kirsty Laws and Catherine Jenkins, joy alkins and probably many more names and also saying she is from many other places (leeds, manchester) and even giving some of her victims addresses out as helping her, some of the names could be innocent people as names don't seem to be linked to the several bank accounts she uses One of the phone numbers being used by her is 07712350504 It also appears she doesn’t just scam horse people! www.facebook.com/OrpingtonGossip/posts/340442352756245 There is also facebook page for people who have been scammed by her called Scammed by Poppy Eastwood There is also another link to people who have been scammed by her www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?622631-In-a-bit-of-a-pickle-what-to-do-next The person who is looking at it in her area is a Richard Coulson at Bromley CID, phone number can be found on the scammed by Poppy Eastwood facebook group and people are now also contacting Dom off the BBC to see if he can help stop this person so anybody who has been scammed please also contact Dom@FlameTV.co.uk Flame TV, 6-9 Cynthia Street, London, N1 please use PAYPAL |

Pretty sure she is not at Chelsfield we know them well and go in regularly for feed, she is also not in Cudham/Knockholt yards. Could be in Keston or Bromley Common - there are a couple of livery yards there but I do wonder if she even has a horse?
Have found the brothers address does exist although not sure if he lives there anymore?

Her mum is taking a trad coloured to toys this weekend never heard of it mind there are photos of her mum riding and her in pics on her mum's Facebook but I don't think poppy rides it's always her mum in the pics riding

If this is her real Twitter account then to me she has nothing to even do with horses no mentions or pics, just pictures of her lips and, mum and lots of tweets that she is a beauty consultant, maybe someone should call about a saddle with the number she gives then the number to contact her about beauty treatments then see if her voice matches..She has been up to this for too long and scamming lots of people!! Not fair fingers crossed she gets caught out.

Other names she could be using as a Facebook friend almost got done today but they realised it was a scam, started off as Lee Mckee and then changed their Facebook name to Rhona Mills!

Lee McKee- gave me a bank account in the name of Tara Longford so people need to be aware when looking for jumping saddles too now as this is what's been offered. The same as the post above from Facebook as offered for sale on preloved. Same saddle that was offered to me. I told the horrid scum bag what I thought of them before they blocked me. People must use PayPal or see the saddle in person. Far too much of this going on.

This person tried the story about going away tomorrow and that the saddle was in storage and she was from Leeds. I even said someone would collect the saddle who lives near by but then she wanted money transferred before collecting the saddle ha! I told her I'm Father Christmas if she thinks I'm falling for that one. She is definitely a scammer!!

Someone else has just posted on facebook that they've nearly been scammed buying a snuggy hood set but turned out to be this vile individual. Keep spreading the word guys as people are being more carefullso hopefully she'll get bored soon!

Yes, keep up the level of vigilance and awareness regards spreading the word about this vile creatures' activities everyone, as it sounds like as lisadundee says, they are nearly scams now and not actual scams. The more people know of her and all her alias's then the harder we can make it for her to succeed, and it sounds like we are all doing a good job so far. She won't earn enough to buy an eyeliner let alone anything else for her plastic body, if we can all keep this up. Well done to one and all.
I have written to Chief Constable of Kent Police asking why Bromley CID appear to be doing nothing and also to The FSA, to ask why the banks are allowing known fraudulent activity to continue despite many reports that have made them well aware of what their accounts are being used for. It will be interesting to see what excuses the authorities have.

Just put a wanted AD for a saddle we're looking for, absolutely terrified to reply to any Pm's incase its a scam from her.
So im sorry to the genuine people who have Pm'd me, but until this has been dealt we dont feel 'safe' to purchase anything.
Just out of interest, is the Poppy Eastwood in question find-able on FB? I searched her name on there and I can only persume she is the one from Manchester?
