I had an email from Tanya.harwoodstud@yahoo.com - offering me ideal Ramsay saddle - I asked for her mobile number - and it was sent back as 07864829524. It was Hun that triggered a suspicion!

I have also had a email off Tanya.hardwoodstud@yahoo offering me a Haydon, Ramsey and a Samantha. I have never requested any info on any saddles so this is just a random email, she must have got my details off a horse ad I requested pics for ages ago:/

I had an email form a Zara Nicolson offering me a samantha but I havent got a wanted advert for a saddle. She must have got it from an old pony for sale advert. It was sent at 3am so she must be a night owl.

I don't think so she is still managing to get people to believe her stories and pay her by bank transfer, hundreds of pounds at a time you can afford a bit of credit for a phone. Hopefully, if she does not get stopped by the relevant authorities she will pick on the wrong person eventually and something very bad will happen to her and she will end up in a painful way.

For those trying to blame HG for their monetary loss, why does anyone need to read the warnings on Horsegossip before they send money to a complete stranger? Surely common sense would prevail when making purchases from ANY private seller over the internet. The saying 'A fool and his money are soon parted' springs to mind and yes, if this is harsh and kicks home the message ONLY USE PAYPAL then think of me what you will, you will thank me and gillwales for being forthright when you find you could have but have not been scammed!

Well done Guys for still posting! Not been on here for a while but the "LADY!" still seems to be up to old tricks! I have put a jacket for sale and the poor lady that wants it and myself are both as neurotic as each other which is understandable-to the point where she is paying my paypal fees so I can transer money into bank myself as that's where I need it to pay for the clippers I had to purchase from a shop. It cost me 20 in petrol to get there and extra time and expense as I won't go online now just incase. I just can't afford to lose any money. It is a good job it was only 80 I lost! I was going to be paid by cheque as thought that would protect payment for her but I don't think it will. I am also using recorded delivery (usually I only get proof of purchase/sent) to ensure she is a protected as I so her jacket is much more than what I advertised and I feel really bad about this! People like her have caused so much upset especially on here as I have always used balance transfers to buy and sell without any thought-NEVER AGAIN!
Just be vigilant and lets hope she does get sorted as its awful. I can't believe how much it has affected me and people who have lost hundreds for saddles, not to mention horsebox will be in an absolute mess! XXX

I am one of those who got caught out and I am not blaming HG I just thought, as I do not come on here that often that it should have been noted on the for sale page. I know I was an idiot and I read all the signs but unfortunately I was brought up by a good family who believe people like her don't exists. How times change but I have learned a valid lesson as im sure have many x

that piece is from 10th july though. The police can't be dedicating a lot of time to it if they still havent caught up with her in nearly 4 months. She's still trawling round opening bank accounts is it worth mounting a facebook campaign and everyone horsey posts a warning on their facebook pages every couple of days and keeps sending them round so that the word gets spread far and wide and more and more people are aware. The horse community historically has been a very trusting and helpful community and its marred by this sort of thing and makes people distrust one another |

I have just read on saddles for sale and wanted facebook page that she is still scamming people she is now saying she has a tack shop that is closing down and selling all stock off not sure if people are aware using names Tanya thicket and poppy v moor

I just don't know how much more information the Police and Banks can possibly need that they don't already have, in order to stop this evil bit*h. I and a whole lot of others have wasted valuable time and phone calls etc giving them and ActionFraud tons of information on Poppy Eastwood and it wouldn't take a genius to put it all together tie it to her and arrest her. So either the Police are thick and can't manage what we already have, or they plain can't be bothered and we the public who pay their wages just don't matter. I am sick of trying to get her stopped and have given Police every possible new detail I can find, but just because they are proving useless doesn't mean I will give up, I never give up when on a mission, so it's the newspapers next I think and a huge public fuss, as to how they are all allowing her to continue her criminal activities despite knowing what is going on. I'll get her in the end, although I'd much prefer her next fix to do it for me - permanently!!!!!!!!! |

I enquired about a saddle on facebook posted by an "normal seller" and got sent a message by someone called Poppy Blakeston saying "Offers hun" so yet another name to be wary of
