If your dressage is good, then all the others will be made alot easier, You also get all the feedback on the sheet, which is brilliant. Its totally addictive I love it!

showing all the way! it fascinates me i love actually show riding just the thrill of riding with some of the top ponies and riders in the country. and when you do well it makes all the hard work, ridiculously early mornings, money and blood sweat and tears! although i do love a good hack with friends!

Diffcult call Have been there and most everthing but had to vote for showing because its become the thing I do most ! BUT would have to say riding out in the hills and woods gives me great pleasure just to be at one with my horse. That gives me a happy face

I love anything equestrian....but I voted HAPPY HACKINGThere is nothing as nice as waking up on a beautiful Autumn morning with the sun breaking through the mist and all the trees laden with golden, red and orange leaves.........tacking up and going for a ride through the woods and across fields the colours the smell and silence.....its purely breath taking and is Britain at it best Im proud to wake up on such a beautiful , magical morning and share it with my best friend.....My Horse..............(sigh) Isnt this what riding is all about?

eventing anyday!!! I have done showing as its something I can afford to do but if I had the time and money I would def go back to eventing but also voted for it as its the ultimate spectator sport - I can't think of anything more thrilling to watch!

I love showing but nothing beats hacking out with your horse, discovering new routes and going for a blast along the beach.

Love our showing, enjoy dressage, But to go on a hack just you and your pony, maybe daughter or friend to gossip to, what could be better. As I get older could manage without the first 2 but would still want to go for a hack.

I have chosen showing as if done correctly you can have an element of dressage and you have the choice of doing workers so you get the best of all worlds I totally agree with what you have said!

umm put all that effort into producing a top class show horse only to be ridden by a judge who cant actually ride - properly - getting lost in the forest is more fun nowadays!!!
