Irish bred, top class large SRT (156cm AHC)

Lovely true to type gelding, always giving a mannerly account of himself. Combines clean conformation and movement with a temperament to die for, making him a real showman who loves the big occasion yet still retaining his usual calm and sensible demeanor. Copes extremely well with evening performances and busy county shows, and as a result we have never had to use calmers or ear plugs with him. I cannot stress enough how well behaved Master is; he literally has fifteen minutes work and goes in the ring and nothing phases this little horse in the slightest. He is a type that is incredibly hard to find; you cannot and will not find a straighter or quieter show horse on the circuit.

Despite being lightly shown due to exam commitments, we have had numerous results in his first season, of which include qualifying for the RIHS and placings in the only three HOYS qualifiers he contested. Master has consistently been amongst the best of the best this year, and he's had some fantastic marks and comments from judges. Whilst we have focused on Int.SRT classes, Master has given me a small introduction to horse classes and I've had some wonderful comments about his potential here as a riding horse. I strongly feel he is an incredibly exciting prospect for next season and certainly a HOYS contender, and as he has not been over shown he still retains his novice status.

This horse really is an absolute delight to have and handle at home; anyone who has seen my facebook knows what a real character he is! He loves being cuddled and fussed over and is a real favorite on the yard. He has absolutely no vices or bad habits that I know of, has a fab attitude to his work and always tries his hardest to please. Master loves his hacking out (alone or in company) and as he shows an extremely promising jump, I'm sure he would hunt too if desired. He would be a fantastic mother/daughter share, and would turn his hoof to anything asked of him.

I honestly haven't got a bad word to say about this horse and it is only a change in circumstances that forces this sale. Master has been my best friend and really is a type that is so hard to fine; he honestly has the biggest heart of any horse I've known. As this decision hasn't been taken lightly, only genuine inquiries are invited please.
