I am pleased the announce that the NCPA Spring Spectacular will be held at Southview EC, Wettenhall, Cheshire CW7 4DL on SATURDAY 22nd March and includes two Concours D'Elegance classes to start our Evening Performance, as well as the normal In Hand, Ridden Horse & Pony classes & WHP We have a NEW CLASS, which has been requested by several people - it is a MINI SHOW COB class (sometimes known as a coblet class). This is being held as a TRIAL class & will not continue if it is not supported, so PLEASE make an effort to enter if you have an animal for this class. Basically it is to balance the maxi cobs, by having a show cob class (hogged & trimmed) for those animals that are NOT exceeding 148cm (the judge will not ride them) All 2013 members have been mailed a copy of the schedule (last ones going in the post today!) with their membership renewal forms & we are pleased to have been able to keep our pre entry fees at £5 per class. Also this time you will be able to ENTER ONLINE (although these entries are not yet open) As well as the usual gorgeous rosettes & sashes to all Champions & Reserves as 2014 is the NCPA's 50th Golden Anniversary Year, we will be awarding champagne & gold tied sashes to EVERY CLASS WINNER so that you can all join in our birthday celebrations! There are two brand new competitions to qualify for at POYS in September - the GOLDEN JUBILEE SUPREME IN HAND & the GOLDEN JUBILEE SUPREME RIDDEN The prizes at the final will be £500, £300, £100, £50, £25, £25 for both finals. Qualification is at NCPA shows only, so get out there & get your GOLDEN TICKET! Entry to the final is free but is for members only & you must show your golden ticket to enter the ring. Sounds very exciting Janet and with wonderful prizes on offer  Thank you for including some Concours D'Elegance classes, they are continuing to grow in popularity and I am still very busy making concours outfits at this time of the year! Concours is also great spectator sport |

delbel - no you don't need to be NCPA registered for the Non M&M class In Hand - as you say it is open to everyone, but there are NCPA register rosettes available to the highest place NCPA registered animal.
bigmama - glad you like the sound of things for this special year (& we have had the concours classes since the Spring Spectacular show began as I do think it gives a lovely start to the evening performance)

Change of Judge:
Miss A Tweedale will now judge the BSPS Bright Star Ridden (classes 26 to 30) The NCPA Non M&M Registered Ridden (class 31) & the BSPS Mixed height Novice SP & SHP (classes 32 & 33)
Mrs K Smith will judge BSPS LR & FR & BSPS First Pony of SHT (classes 38 to 40)

Please note the information regarding the Cherif final is incorrect in the schedule
The date SHOULD read 17th September 2014 & the cost of qualifying cards should be £25

The Spring Spectacular now has entries available online at www.thencpa.co.uk. You can pay for your 2014 membership and then enter the show for £5 a class online! |

Just a quick reminder that POSTAL pre entries (£5 for members & £10 for non members) close on FRIDAY 7th March (postmark)
Online entries remain open until Friday 14th March.
Entries accepted on the day CASH ONLY £15 per class PLUS First Aid fee (£3)

We are very pleased with Entrymaster who power all our online systems and we have had very positive feedback from people who appreciate the ease of using their computers/smart phones to do things this way

You will have to contact Southview direct for this as I do not know, but they have always been very reasonable
Closing date for online entries is this Friday 14th March
Do take advantage of the reduced rates for pre entries but entries accepted on the day £15 CASH ONLY
I will put up class numbers next Monday

We currently have NO pre entries in the following classes:
Ring 1
Cradle Stakes, LR WHP, LR SHP, Nov 133 & nov 122 M&M WHP, and Open 122 143 & ex 143 M&M WHP
Ring 2
Bright Stars LR, Mixed height Nov SP, LR SP, FYFR, Tiny Tots FR, Tiny Tots SHP & M&M Tiny Tots LR
Ring 3
Maxi Cob, Mini Cob (Coblet & this class was specifically requested!) Cob, Bright Stars RH, M&M Nov FR, & M&M Open Dart, Ex & Shet
Also only 1 entry in the LR/FR Concours & NONE in the other
Obviously we take entries on the day but I do hope we get some pre entries in these classes as those for the younger children have always been so popular.
