So this little man has taken a long time to get used to cantering in public, but yesterday it finally clicked! He won the inhand smalls and came 6th in a huge ''best condition pony'' class in the morning, and then i had entered him in a class for novice ponies who hadn't won 1st-3rd in a ridden showing class before, where cantering is optional, so i played it by ear and he felt happy and forward so i sat and he popped straight into canter, no questions asked, no handstands nothing! There was the occasional giraffe impression but that will all come with time, anyway he went on to win the class! Insanely proud to say i have no facilities not even electricity or water, just a hired school and a field Heres a video, i set it to public so you should be able to see it www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=396908067118107&set=vb.100003967509025&type=3&theaterand a comparison video, 3rd day of riding him at home from being a lr pony www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=262194167256165&set=vb.100003967509025&type=3&theaterHere are afew pictures, excuse the long boots, i was flying from pony to pony And just because we can't leave him out, heres my beautiful troy, he had a day of 2nd's as he couldn't quite contain himself in the lineup but kept the lid firmly on the excitement tin doing his shows
