Is Bob's Hairy the one which belonged to the people who used to own Comberton Lord of the Dance? The Findlows? HOYS champ a few years back and started out with Bob. Was a smart little pony and a goer! No that was Townend Breeze Cara Sweeney's pony. the one that Bob now is Hesket Willow.

Lovely coloured went res supreme champ- just a shame it was ridden totally on curb and overbent liek the rest of the horse a certain producer was riding that day!

Lovely coloured went res supreme champ- just a shame it was ridden totally on curb and overbent liek the rest of the horse a certain producer was riding that day! NOW NOW....... if you were observant in the least, you would have noticed the "rest" were novices - shown in snaffles the pony you refer to wears a jointed pelham, hardly a jaw breaker, had it been overbent, dont you think one of the 4 judges who placed it .. would have had a comment to make Lovely pony, who performed and was well ridden.

Not associated with the first post about being ridden of the curb but totally agree! If you paid any attention you would notice that producers horses all go the same (whether novice or not) and using a curb is no excuse for any animal being overbent!!! It is a shame as they have a few nice animals!!!

again the slating is being done by Guests !!!!!!

Post by bent on Mar 21, 2007 8:39:37 GMT
Not slating, just stating the fact that i watched the PBA and RES Supreme getting ridden by the same jockey- with the same technique- on the curb! "kick pull"

am quite thick , are we saying that the pba and the coloured were the same pony, if not how did the same jockey ride both, can somebody plese clarify this

i meant that the thread is for results not for targetting and slating individual people, and yes think guests are a good idea .....and causes for making the topics interesting and general opinions about a class makes good gossip , but please think before u post about an individual ........think how you would feel if your riding / pony was being commented on ....especially if you had won and gone champ / reserve and prob thrilled with your day !!!!

Hi Everyone! Can i just say i was very pleased with the way all my animals went @ ingilston house show @ the weekend! Thanks for the lovely comments about Tara! as for the way she goes....well the judges seem to like it! But if some of you dont thats your choice. Can i just suggest that people concentrate on their own ponies & the way they go! and il concentrate on mine! if you have nothing nice to say? why say it? it is ment to be a good sporting & fun sport! well done to everyone who qulaified @ the weekend! And i hope everyone was as happy as i was!!! Thanks Victoria
