Kilmannan Jet
Jet is a 5 year old Black Dales Gelding currently standing at 14.1hh. I purchased Jet last year as a just backed baby. He has had considerable schooling and has 3 fantastic balanced uphill paces which has gone in his favour when shown, he's won and been placed at local and agricultural level. After trying county shows and going to the next level I feel Jet's lack of enthusiasm for bigger shows has shown. He copes well in big atmospheres but lacks the sparkle required for my aspirations.
He is 110% to hack out! I have ridden him in the heaviest traffic! open spaces and he's a total saint. My non horsey friend has also ridden him and felt 100% safe. He is good to load, clip, shoe, catch and is good in and out of the stable and trustworthy to be handled by children.
I feel Jet would be better suited to somebody who enjoys hacking more than I do, go on beach and fun rides and go to occasional show is desired. I know with his excellent temperament he would love this life and be suitable for anyone to do this with.
This has been a very hard and long decision to come to so please no time wasters or picture collectors. No loans but open to any trial whilst at current yard in West Yorkshire.
