Three years ago the Branch was almost finished but a small group of people managed to resurrect it. Those people have done an excellent job but have now served their time and for that we thank them, however, they have now handed over the reins to a new small committee and we are determined to have a d**n good go at keeping the Branch going......which I believe is one of the oldest NCPA Branches.
Please support the Branch when possible to keep it going and make a note in your diaries of the following dates please:-
21st March a clinic with Russell Marks - more details to follow next week.
10th May, Spring Show, Mill Lane Stables, Brayton, Nr. Selby
5th July, Summer Show, Mill Lane, Selby
27th September, Autumn Show, Mill Lane Stables.
If anyone would like to sponsor a class at a very reasonable £5, please email me at michelle@ncpa-Yorkshire.co.uk

Not sure yet Gaynor. We would need to know how much interest workers classes would create, we need to know that the classes could support themselves. We welcome any ideas/feedback from competitors over the next few weeks so we can take the Branch Shows forward. Thanks  |

Thank you Sally07 we know we clash but unfortunately that was the only date available to us for next year for the Spring Show. We have had great problems trying not to clash with lots of shows.....it's a nightmare!!
Perhaps you could support our other two shows?

It's a shame it clashes but white rose doesn't cater for everyone we mainly show inhand youngstock so if you can cater for us we will be renewing our membership and coming to your show! X

Yes we appreciate it clashes, but unfortunately it was the only date available at the venue of our choice. There will be in hand classes too and Welsh Bronze Rosettes on offer for all the Welsh Sections including part breds plus a Performance Medal. We need as much support as we can for these shows for this Branch to survive and move forward. Perhaps those people who can't support the Spring Show may be able to support our Summer and Autumn Shows, everyone will be made very welcome We have had some great sponsors come forward to help for which we are very grateful and the new Committee look forward to the challenges ahead. We are also hoping to run a Branch Points Scheme too, so there should be something for everyone  |

We at NCPA Yorkshire Branch have been asked if we would consider putting on Foreign Breeds Classes at our shows next year. We would like to know if there would be much support for such classes - all ideas welcome.

Well my lad is a 4 yr old coloured small hunter (15.2hh)
So a young horse class
Coloured plaited class
Novice class
Or small hunter class would be suitable

I know we did Phillipa but it's hard finding dates to suit at the moment, but once we get up and running we will have a better chance of not clashing too much in 2016. Hopefully see you at a couple of our shows now then The July show should be a great run out practice for the Great Yorks |
