Sadly our little Georgie went to join his friends this morning. He had stopped being his happy self over the last couple of weeks and the sad decision had to be made to let him go.
He was part of our lives for over 25 years and the final pony from the girls' childhood showing days.
He was a wonderful SHP and a true gentleman, carrying first Samantha, then Amanda & finally Victoria to superb wins at all the championships as well as qualifying for RIHS & HOYS on several occasions.
He was the first foal to a visiting mare for the prolific stallion Cusop Rebate and was bred by Lady Margaret Myddleton at Chirk Castle.
After he was foaled (out of Chirk Calliope) the Molyneux family bought him (hence his suffix) & he returned to the Kelsborrow stud to be shown by George Molyneux, earning his pet name of little George.
Enjoy being back with the team George, and thank you for being a member of our family, we will always love you.

What amazing old breeding and he had a full life giving lots of love and pleasure. A real old gentleman now at rest. Very sad for you.
