Ive recently bought a dartmoor gelding and he is not registered is there anyway i can get him registered he has a lot number and date of birth on his passport DHP 6343 date of birth 01/04/2006

It might be he is a Dartmoor Hill Pony which is not the same as registered Dartmoor Ponies. Unless you knew parentage, and both parents were registered there would be no chance of registering.

All county schedules state for ponies registered with their respective stud books and I'm pretty all showing societies also state this as well. TBH so do most riding clubs these days.

DHP is Dartmoor hill pony so he isn't able to be registered with the Dartmoor pony society so you wouldn't be able to show him at county level although there are classes for Dartmoor Hill ponies
