I'm so excited for next season,
we've had a fabulous one this year, Chris is starting to look more open than LR finally!
Still taking everything slow but whats the rush?
and Troy has been a Dressage Diva and a jumping machine!
Here he is coming 4th in the Olympia class at Countryside Live with the 2nd highest ride mark of the class, and his highest yet which i was over the moon with as theres still room for improvement!
Was slightly disappointed with his conformation but can't be everyones cup of tea!
We also did the under 13h workers on the saturday, having the last pole down and coming 7th with the highest conformation of the class! If we hadn't had a pole we would've been in 4th
Last week we went out to have a pre run for CSL as he hadn't been out since denbigh, it didn't quite go to plan, my unlucky venue, every time i jump here I'm eliminated! I ended up sat on his neck (poor guy haha!)
Heres Troy at home, hope to keep my brave pants and jump qualifiers with them both next season!
Hunter trialling at the start of October, i screamed the whole round as i went in a snaffle and he was following his girlfriend very quickly!
The pony that wouldn't jump at shows winning both the 85 & 95 at the local show!
We came 5th in the Team Quest Regional finals, just out of qualifying for the Nationals as upto 3rd go! My friends horse went lame mid season and she had to borrow Troy for the regionals and did a super job having only sat on him twice before!
Pre run!
Christie payed a visit to his homeland with a trip to his stud and Denbigh show, we were pulled 9th after the go round which thrilled me, just did a babyish show to finish 12th in his second ever HOYS!
Equifest was great as usual! Chris came home with 7th in a strong Amatuer A class, 9th in the A workers and 5th in the open, Troy had a 9th in the open and 4th in the music dressage, he didn't want to jump in the eventing, i don't blame him though was very slippy!
Schooling at home, i just love riding this boys trot
and before that we went to Trailblazers!
Had a 6th in the Elementary warm up class, just out the placings on day 1 and a 9th and 10th on the final day!
Troy proving you don't need a contact for an outline....
Beautiful photo i bought from RTI
Not much left to do now, another hunter trial on Sunday, a clinic with Geoff Billington next saturday, and then we will see how the winter goes!
