1/5/1989 - 18/12/15
Today my boy gained his wings.
Nearly 21 years to the day we brought him home and took his last breath in the paddock where I first rode him and he dumped me!!!! A true gent and showman. My pony of a lifetime and always my shoulder to cry on.
I feel so guilty but I know you were so tired.
Sleep well my darling. We will miss you with all our hearts.

RIP to a special man. Rebel I remember you posting on here and you always did your best by him. Take comfort in your memories and those happy times you shared.

So sorry to hear this - he was a star and you suited each other to a tee .I know you must be feeling so sad and bereft right now , but take comfort in the fact that because he found you he had a wonderful life to the very end .Remember all the many wonderful bits . Our thoughts are with you .XXX

Thank you everyone.
He is now at home with me. Went to collect him this morning.
Speaking to people on here and facebook has helped so much and it comforts me that people think I did the right thing.
The hardest decision of my life and one that took me a while to realise needed making but the time was right. It was a nice morning and everything went as well as it possibly could. I lay with him afterwards and stayed with him whilst he was taken by the crem and I wouldn't have changed a single thing that happened yesterday.
