My pony has rubbed her shoulders due to her rug and now has a rather large completely bald patches on each shoulder. I am looking into getting a bib to prevent this in future - any recommendations??
Also looking for some sort of cream that works quickly and effectively to help with the hair regrowth. I have heard that the botanica range is supposed to be good but also expensive, would love to know what your experience was with it.
Any other advice please and thank you in advance!

Cut two large holes in an old fleece rug or under rug where the shoulder rubs, put it on horse/pony and then normal rug on top .. we find that works better than bibs PROVIDED the top rug fits well and has enough chest room for it's occupant!

Spray the shoulders with coat gloss, makes the skin slippy and helps prevent the rubs; however, making sure there is enough chest and shoulder room in the rug is important. We get rugs with a nylon type lining rather than cotton. As a bonus, we get a good shine on the coat all over Lycra head and shoulder covers help or just a lycra bib. We've used Aqueous cream (used for people with eczema) it's good and cost efficient for promoting regrowth. We used it on leathery skin after removal of sarcoid; the regrowth was slow but kept cream kept the skin moisturised and supple. Used it twice a day.

My boy gets rubbed shoulders very easily, he is very sensitive. I use a bossy's bib but his shoulders even get slightly rubbed with this so I also rub a small amount of baby oil on his shoulders where it rubs are and that stops it.
