My daughter moved onto her horse after her ridiculous growth spurt last year, and we both love it. Despite the age difference the classes are (generally lol) mannerly, very good professional show etiquette and she's been far happier - always exceptions but not so much cutting up, going round as fast as possible or charging into line etc... Obviously generalising but she's found her thing in horses.
When we were home produced my only problem is I can't reach to plait his forelock!
Good luck!

I think we tend to have more nerves for our children than we do for ourselves
