Just had a pony vetted and they have found 3 small sarcoids. Pony passed vetting everything else was fine but don't know if I should still buy it? Has anyone had any experience of sarcoids?

no dont, they can be cancerous or a wart growth caused by some dirt getting into a pore, but if there are 3 then personally I would walk away, especially if a grey as the pony will have had the aging gene switched on.

Depending on size and location of sarcoids I wouldn't completely dismiss the pony, if it ticks all your boxes.
We've had one with lots of different types of sarcoids in various places treated successfully.
The only thing is your insurance company may not cover you for treatment as they've been noted at the vetting.

Don't do it.
We have a 17hh warmblood with terrible sarcoids - it's cost more than his value to have them lasered off and they just keep growing back.
Tried everything turmeric, sarcex, liverpool cream etc etc. Nothing seems to work for him :-(
