They where 200 stables short and have been having to build the as people arrived; friend has had there sat night stable cancelled because theyou need it for a duration
People are turning up today and have been told that unless 60 people leave the blue area tonigh there are no stables
TBF to Equifest they ordered enough but the stable company didn't bring enough
And it's HOT

That's appalling. Feel for the organisers. Hope the stabling company has good insurance

We're having a lovely time so far.... We were quickly allocated our stables within 10 minutes of arrival, everyone has been happy and helpful. The toilets were an issue in our area (red b) to start with but that's sorted now. The judging in our classes has been spot on so far (and no, we haven't won any classes). Our only problem has been the very very hard ground which hasn't suited my mare especially today after it rained on already slippy rings. Looking forward to tomorrow when we're in the Top Spec arena x

The ground is rock hard! And some of the rings are rather un level (better stop complaining else another angry guest will get their knickers in a twist again ) We haven't had any problems with stabling thankfully, the worker courses have been good and the course builders have been considerate when building on this hard ground. Not a moan about the show itself, but some of the individuals here really need to have some respect, I went to the showers last night and found used tampons and sanitary towels in the showers, and a poor lady was telling me that someone had done a poo outside her lorry in the night- truly disgraceful

Someone had done a poo in the shower this morning
Then the site lost water again mid way through a shower

Pooping in the shower is nothing new @ Equifest ... it happened when we were last there in 2012 .. it does make me wonder, what are the offenders homes like? Do they poo in the shower at home? Do they leave used sanitary items in the shower too? Disgusting

I'm starting to realise why we have never bothered going Never done equifest but had planned on doing so next year. Hmmm. I'm not so sure I can spend an amount of time with scutters like this. What possesses someone to do that in the showers or outside a lorry??

I don't think alcohol can be blamed. I think people are just unhinged!!

Just back from another very enjoyable Equifest. Organisers do a wonderful job putting on a full range of classes for all types and abilities and the evening performance has a brilliant atmosphere. Yes, there does seem to be a problem with the behaviour of a small minority who attend this show but there are bound to be some with a show of this size. It's still our favourite show of the season and looking forward to next year!

Had a super show, and agree with the above - the organisers do an excellent job managing such a huge event. Sadly there will always be the minority that ruin for the majority and with 11,000 people and 2,500 horses on site daily it's going to happen

We were very disappointed this year - very small stables that leaked badly when it rained. Very loud neighbours until the early hours of the morning (with no respect or thought for anybody else) When there are 20 odd ponies in a class how does it help when the confirmation judge does scoring and the performance judge does not ! Kids climbing over the toilet cubicle sides when people are in there. We also seemed to have very little room the lorry park this year. We have always enjoyed Equifest (win or lose) but this year it was just not the same as every other year for us.

Seriously considering not coming back next year
Every year we ask for PA system in red B and they never bother
Normally have a block of toilets this year it was 5 portaloos that got blocked up and left so had to tick miles for toilet
Poo in the showers;
The site water cutting off 2 days on the trot
Security what security there was no on the gates getting in out of the out skirts of the showground when we drove to the shop one afternoon
Very much felt the case of cutting corners
Very noticeable lack in atmosphere compared to previous years every night seemed so quiet
Trade stands even emptier than previous just like a ghost town at times
We didn't have a terrible week having a 1xRes Champ 1x1st 3x2nd 3rd 2×4th. It's not even to do with winning put placings in some classes was disheartening when ponies that are misbehaving are top of the line

Had a great show but disappointed to see quite a few judges doing favours for friends, one in particular stood out, a horse won a few titles in the evening and judge and rider are good friends and believe same bsps area and not in my opinion the deserved winner. The organisers do an amazing job, could do with a few more warm up areas

I live the show had some good results no reds but was still very happy with my 2 yr old filly can't wait for next year already booked off at work lol feel sorry for equifest and what's happened x

We had a fantastic time at Equifest , some good results some not so good . Entered my daughter in a variety of classes from showing / concours and a workers class . Also a couple of palomino classes . We always have a good time at Equifest even if results are not great as lots of friends go . I think it's what you make it . Only complaint ( not Equifest fault ) was we had a pony behind ours that constantly tried to kick its way out every time something else got fed . Not helped by the owner wandering down to feed it at 8.30 long after everything else had been fed . This really upset our pony and he was also really tired by the end ( don't remember him being so tired last year ) . The poor lady who was stabled next to it had to feed it every time she fed her own horse .
Do wish they would move the m and m finals out of the main ring , the ground was awful ( this wasn't as much a problem for our ponies as it was for others as we don't have a school ) there was absolutely no atmosphere in the main ring in the day would have been lovely to be in the in door or the demo ring . Anything would be better than the main ring in the day .
