I want to compete my coloured in some HOYS/RIHS qualifiers this season but i am unsure of which societies i need to join. Also on the chaps/bspa website they mention "HOYS Ridden Competition Numbers" and "RIHS Card (Ridden)" do i need to purchase these?
Really confused so any help would be much appreciated ;D ;D ;D

BSPA to do RIHS and CHAPS to do HOYS. THe qualifiers have already started. Check the websites to see what type of membership you need to do the qualifiers.

You will need to be a showing member of CHAPS and horse will need to be registered and passport overstamped. You will need to apply for a HOYS number as well. BSPA is basically same although you need to apply for a RIHS card which judges signs in ring. Good Luck this season Kirsty. RIHS Q's have started and 1st HOYS Q very soon, BSPA take quite a while to send the stuff back to you so make sure you get your skates on. All the forms can be downloaded from the websites and you can pay by Paypal with CHAPS
