I may be looking at getting a small d and eventually reregistering it to a section c to do 133cm to 143cm worker classes and I am just wondering how many are out there doing well. Thanks in advance

I'm thinking about doing this, my boy has a lot of C breeding in him anyway, and is often mistaken for a C!

If the pony has already been registered as a section D there will be a period of time (age related) before you can re-register as a section C. Check with WPCS regarding the timing. Good luck in whatever you do with your pony.

They can be reregistered purely on height grounds, Cs are up to 13.2hh (or maybe gone metric?) and Ds above. A C that grows bigger than 13.2 can be rereg as a D at any age on vet's measurement but they have to be 7yo to go down from D to C - makes sense if you think about it because they have to have stopped growing. Cs and Ds have identical breed descriptions and share bloodlines, so why not just look for one the height you actually want?

If the person in question has a d 133-143 they wouldn't gave to re register as a c as workers are all done on height. As long as the pony was in that height group it would be fine. Think c's have to be 137.2cm or under. The said person hadn't said what height the pony is just that they want to re register as a c.
