Should a judge who is judging HOYS be commenting on a post of a competitor going under them on Facebook in a very friendly manor?

I would say absolutely not! If said person does do well at HOYS under said judge then I'm sure many eyebrows will be raised! Agree with the above morally wrong!

As we know this happens all the time and is usually the starting point for discussions on here about 'fixed' judging! Not suggesting anyone is saying that but as usual it comes down to how things are perceived. As has been said many times judges are people and will of course have many friends within the showing world, common sense should tell you not to put yourself in a position where your integrity is questioned. I have no idea who or what this is about but in reality is hitting a like button or perhaps making an encouraging remark such a bad thing? Sometimes we have to keep things in proportion.

Were you in the friendly manor when you noticed this judge communicating with an exhibitor in a friendly manner?
