I have a reliable source on the spot so will post what results I hear
We bumped into your 'reliable source ' ( feel like I'm in MI5 ! ) yesterday bigmama , looking very business like and still sober at 10.30 am , so obviously taking her role as designated informant seriously ! Had a fab day at HOYS and bumped into loads of friends and ' Long time-No see ' aquaintances ( the ' bumping into ' being literal by the time I'd visited the retail stands and sampled Toffee Vodka , Rhubarb Gin , radioactive blue and pink coloured wine , Cherry liquour and Champagne infused with 24 carat gold dust . And I'm delighted to be able to answer the question that is surely on everyone's lips regarding the latter item , because after that much alcohol on an empty stomach I had no hesitation in asking the rather humorless vendor that very thing , and apparently " No - it does not give you glittery p**s ." Shame ) . Congratulations to everyone who was there , so many lovely ponies it was an absolute treat , but my ABSOLUTE ULTIMATE FAVOURITE of the day , and the one that I would love to have brought home , was the gorgeous mouse dun Highland Glenbanchor Somerled . My lord , what a trot ! Talk about " elevated movement " ( and naturally so - not because of nerves !). He/she ( actually don't know anything about the pony and have never seen it before ) moves like he/she is on a sprung ballroom floor, amazing ! And so beautifully , quietly and confidently ridden by what appeared to be a very young jockey . Definately the outstanding combination of the day for me .
NB Why has my font turned into the same as bigmamas ? Did I catch it from her ' source ' ? How mysterious .....

Shame . Congratulations to everyone who as there , so many lovely ponies it was an absolute treat , but my ABSOLUTE ULTIMATE FAVOURITE of the day , and the one that I would love to have brought home , was the gorgeous mouse dun Highland Glenbanchor Somerbed . My lord , what a trot ! Talk about " elevated movement " ( and naturally so - not because of nerves !). He/she ( actually don't know anything about the pony and have never seen it before ) moves like he/she is on a sprung ballroom floor, amazing ! NB Why has my font turned into the same as bigmamas ? Did I catch it from her ' source ' ? How mysterious ..... LOL Flee .. visions of you bouncing from trade stand to trade stand after all that wild liquor (hope you've not relied on the word of the champagne seller and checked for yourself after trips to the loo!) Yes, my 'on the spot' reporter will have kept herself very sober as up at 5am to help with friend's ponies .. she arrived home 11pm yesterday, pooped but happy with her trip to Hoys The reason you have pinched my font is because you quoted me and replied within the quote brackets [ ] but really, I don't mind, it is lovely to hear from you on Horsegossip, even though we only live a couple of miles apart, hehehe. If you want to know about the font colour, I've caught that multi-coloured cocktail thing from you Your favourite pony sounds fab .. I do not know of it either but shall go have a snoop on Google as sounds so interesting and delightfulEdited to add .. have found your highland, Flee, called Somerled (not Somerbed, you have your saucy mind in the bedroom, lol). Yes, a lovely pony which also drives, it appears, clever hipo

My bottom is taking on the shape of one of these plastic seats, once I've sat here for three more days I'm going to need a bottomectomy!
Fab day here, more Shania Twain music of course but the WHP classes were fab, course was less trappy and more open than previous years, lots of clears in the first two classes but caught a lot out in the later two classes which was interesting to see
Just sat through the SFAS working show horse/pony classes. I think the pony class has missed it's brief somehow which is a shame, i think its a poor substitute for the SP/SHP class but the ponies were all lovely all the same
Some nice horses in the riding horse/hack sfas class
Section Bs up soon

All the fans of super HiPo Bo, Glenbanchor Somerled, will have to join the back of the very long queue! He's an absolute gem of a pony who has previously qualified for the driving finals at Hoys, was placed in the ridden finals last year, competes side saddle and does dressage!
