I’ve just recently starting working with my m&m workers/ junior large breed new forest and was wondering which society is best to join for next season as if all goes well will be wanting to do some qualifiers with her. I was thinking bsps but from my parents not being into a showing background and it’s my first season out on the pony I’m not entirely sure. Any help would be grateful. Thanks

I would join the society which you would like to go to their summer championship shows & that may depend on whereabouts you live &/or whether you can attend midweek for the summer champs (NPS Malvern & BSPS Grantham midweek plus Saturday) BSPS have a 2 day weekend Heritage show in October just for M&M ponies, with flat & WHP classes for all standards plus junior flat & WHP
BSPS would cover you for Junior (& open) & M&M WHP for HOYS qualifiers, but for RIHS you would need to join NPS for WHP (also cover you for HOYS) & PUK for junior classes.
BSPS membership would cover you for breed & home produced classes at RIHS but not junior.
Hope this helps

Thank you janetbushell I think I will join bsps as she is Home produced also so could do royal international with that and Grantham is not too far from us. Thanks for the advice 👍🏼
